When I was 26 years old pregnant and a first time mother raising a 1 year old I became very ill and had a lot of problems and complications during my pregnancy that prevented me being able to work and provide for my family. My daughter then experienced a near death experience and stopped breathing several times. I immediately went home and called Pg&e to ask to check my apartment because we smelled gas several times and had our landlord send his personal maintenance guys to fix things that lead to bigger issues. I wanted to check if the air quality was safe so I can bring my new born home to a clean and safe environment. I immediately found out the day I was scheduled to bring my newborn home that we have been exposed to very high levels of Carbon Monoxide and gas from missing and faulty appliances from the water heater and stove. I became aware that this can cause hospitalizations and deaths from carbon monoxide poisoning also known as "the silent killer” Carbon monoxide is a poisonous gas that does not have any smell or taste. Eason & Tambornini law team represented my family when our health was at risk and I was worried as a new mother of what happened to my family. I plan to spread awareness of Carbon Monoxide and gas leaks. Please make sure your alarms in your home are up to date and work properly for all of your detectors. My Carbon Monoxide detector was expired and did not work. If someone else is going through a similar situation in life I recommend this wonderful Law firm they truly are compassionate and understanding during hard times!
