My son was attacked by three musicians and two of their groupies and defended his friend after they attacked his friend. It was a highly publicized case because the alleged victims later posted social media falsely accusing him of assault with a deadly weapon and making homophobic slurs, leading to a knee jerk reaction of the DA to re-arest him and charge him with hate crimes. Leslie pointed out all the discrepancies between what the alleged victims told the police, their medical records and their testimony in trial after seeing the surveylance video which was at the location. The pro-DA judge disallowed much of the evidence which would have made it obvious to the jury that my son was innocent. Nevertheless the jury is hung enabling us to continue fighting if necessary.
