This review is long overdue. My husband and I signed a rental lease for one year because we had the intentions of staying at the apartment complex longterm. Prior to signing the lease, there had been leaks in the bathroom, in which we had informed property management and were told had been taken care of. Four/Five months into the lease, it started leaking again. Plumbing came out and left a big hole in the wall to resolve a different day. What we saw was horrendous. There was mold build up and we had to leave the premises due to uninhabitable conditions, not safe for our newborn also living there. We hired Gilberto Vega to represent us in trying to break the lease. Right away, he contacted us, reviewed our lease agreement and wrote a letter of representation to the property management. Mr. Vega was very professional and explained the next steps with the possible outcomes. Thanks of his work, the property manager contacted us to confirm the lease was terminated and we’d no longer be responsible for future months. Outstanding work by Mr. Vega! He called me immediately due to my situation and asked me all the important details. He then called both parties involved on my behalf and was able to identify that I was being scammed.
