WOW! What a super nice and highly knowledgeable man! When no other attorney would take 5 minutes to answer a quick question, Mr. Halverson was willing to help. He consulted his associate who happens to be an expert in this specific area of law and I got my expert answer within minutes. He ismore interested in helping people than "nickle and diming" like most attorneys. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

For nearly two years, the California Franchise Tax Board has been harassing me for back taxes for a closed business that didn't even have a presence in California (I live in Oregon)! Their latest stunt was to send me a 10 day demand-or-levy notice for $39,000 without any prior notice. They could have levied bank accounts, put a lien on my house, etc. Within a couple of hours, Rex got them to agree to what amounted to only about 10% of their original demand. He knew exactly who to call and how best to negotiate with them. Since he is in Sacramento, he is even going to personally walk the tax returns over to the FTB office and have them hand him receipts. I got really lucky. I couldn't have chosen a better attorney. I enthusiastically recommend him for any tax matters.
