Really went the extra mile for me to reduce my sentence long after my sentencing energetic explosive in trial and where is good long-lasting perfume and hair products which only a county jail housed inmate would be the most to appreciate giving a bad review cuz I can't get a response or return message from her doesn't know how to separate business from personal or social activities maybe there is some unwritten rule in the bar handbook about conflicts between client and attorney or maybe she just no longer wants to talk to me and fear of social humiliation has no idea how to hang up a framed picture however that is the role we play I'm sure all the other framed pictures are not serving their purpose either I would still retain her for the situation I'm in includes placer county case and Sacramento case she would be the best fit for that however she is turned down multiple offers for retainers for business and so far she seems to only ask about me through third party conversations

My lawyer Shelby gets 10 stars. This lady pulled off a miracle. A literal miracle. Without going into details about my case, she came up with an amazing idea which she'd never done before. I would recommended Shelby to anyone who is looking for a criminal defense lawyer. She is upfront and honest. She explains all the possible outcomes and what she will try to do for you. During the whole process she kept us informed and she was diligent to make sure she got all the information for the case. Ms. Albert's took a convicted felon facing 16 years to trial and ended in a Not Guilty verdict for the biggest charge. Turned 16 years into 2 yrs. She is not afraid to go against the grain and will fight all of them for her clients. I had some doubts in the beginning, but she proved her tactics were successful. my son was facing three felony charges she stood by him never gave up on him when you need to talk with her she would answer your calls she would let you know what was going on she never leave you out in the dark she's a very excellent attorney and I would recommend her to anybody

In my felony case their were a few bumps in the road I started out with a public defender with 30 years experience but would never return my calls and was cold as Alaska. Then I got a male attorney who made promises without even looking at my case. I prayed for a decent attorney to represent me. My prayers were answered when I found Shelby Alberts. She took her time, she gave me both the pros and the cons to taking my case to a preliminary hearing. She never told me what I should do but rather give me the knowledge to make my own decision and no matter what my decision was she was going to do her best. The DA wanted to give me a year and we both refused that then we came back a month later they offered 6 months we didn't take that. In the end Ms. Alberts got the Judge to lower it to 90 days with half time credits so total days I received are 45 with alternative programs. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an attorney whose not only knowledgeable but who has compassion and who softens the courtroom with such a male dominant field. Going through this process was very stressful but when you have an attorney who has your best interest at heart it's not only rare but a blessing. I am forever grateful to Ms. Alberts!!! Shelby kept me out of jail, plain and simple. I was facing some 2 very serious charges, assault and battery with a deadly weapon. I learned from my mistakes and will prove that to her and the court. She was able to strike a deal and kept me from seeing any time in jail. I was sentenced to 3 years probation and 45 days alternative sentencing. Because of her I am able to resume my schooling and live a peaceful life.

I was charged with DUI after having a previous wet reckless on my record. I figured my chance to getting this case dropped was very slim as I had a prior on record. Shelby noticed a discrepancy between the officer's report and the video evidence from the camera in the patrol car. I had originally been told I had a tail light out which I knew was not true by checking it the day after the incident. Shelby ended up using this to get me a greatly reduced charge with a wet reckless. I am now very thankful that i had her as my lawyer on this case. She went way over the top of my previous lawyer's performance and I thank her truly caring about my case and going the extra mile.
