Bobby is the best. I had two atty prior. He will fight for you and is very realistic. His staff is the best as well. All are very responsive.

Hate this place. My significant other hired them to represent her in her child custody case and they screwed it up over and over. The first lawyer at that firm that represented her actually called on a Saturday to inform her that she will no longer be representing her as she was no longer at that firm and that she had court on Monday. Mr. Luna does not return phone calls, even if the most urgent nature. He doesn't file on time and will lie to you stating that he did, and he also filed papers that his client had never seen or approved of. He was given multiple chances to improve but that was a mistake. In the end, my significant other had to fire him and hire a much better, much more expensive lawyer and pay her a lot of money to fix all the things that mr. Luna's firm had done. He actually did damage to her case that i would consider on the verge of malpractice. His office personnel is very unprofessional, and his attorneys actually showed up to court proceedings late, looking unprofessional, and came into the courtroom with an entourage which disrupted the court. When talking to other attorneys and mentioning his name as previous counsel the most common reaction was was one of empathy. Not a good lawyer at all, I'm surprised he has not yet been disbarred. Only when threatened of being reported to the state bar did he ever "appear" to care and do his job, but that was always short lived and insincere, as he quickly went back to his ways. You get what you pay for and this is not something you want to cheap out on. It'd add if he doesn't get that he is messing with people's lives and the repercussions of his actions or inactions have a lasting legal affect. At some points it seemed as if he was representing the opposition. It was very very expensive to correct his mistakes and the mishandling of the case, and not all the issues that he caused could be corrected. We tried to call mr. Luna to be sure that papers got filed one Friday, as it was the last day to get them in on time and if they hadn't been then we were going to go for them that day to get them in before the deadline, no problem. We couldn't get through to him at all, and eventually, about a half hour before the courthouse was closing and they couldn't be filed, we finally got confirmation from one of his office staff that it was taken care of, that the papers had been filed, and that we had nothing to worry about. ALL LIES!!! The papers actually were not filed on time and because of that the other party in the case was permitted to file papers late that greatly affected the outcome of the case. Mr. Luna, if you didn't file the papers then just say that you didn't file the papers. We would have been happy to do the little legwork involved to be sure that all was taken care of properly. Don't lie about it and do it 1 day after the deadline and act as if nothing happened. Honesty is a valuable trait in a lawyer, crucial even. If you cannot trust your attorney then who can you trust? Repeated lying and questionable ethics sums up this law practice. I'm sure that this review won't be up for too long, as he apparently finds a way to get the bad reviews deleted, but if you read this, take heed. We were not the only ones with these issues with him and i would bet that at least some of the good reviews are friends or staff of his. If you want a lawyer that will work hard toward the outcome you desire, will communicate with you, come with the court in a timely fashion, and represent you with your best interests in mind then keep looking, because Mr. Luna is definitely not it. If however, you are looking for representation that does not care about you, does not have your best interests in mind, will lie to you repeatedly, will never call you back, and will make your bad situation much, much worse... then look no further, Bobby Luna will screw you over like no other.

Great friendly staff

4-2-2024: On March 18, 2024, the Law Offices of Bobby P. Luna experienced a ransomware attack in which an unauthorized third party accessed and encrypted data from our network computer system. This was discovered on the morning of March 19, 2024, and we immediately began working with our IT provider to remedy and retrieve the data. This clown is running for to be a Superior Court Judge in Sacramento County. DO NOT vote for this man. Terrible customer service, they do not listen, they won't call you back. Perhaps they treat their clients with more money better. Edit 9/26: I saw Mr. Luna at court today, my divorce is final, but Mr. Luna made it a point to talk to me about this review. He said my review is bad for his business. Well, Mr. Luna and the staff of Luna Family Law Office, if you want better reviews then DO better.

Forthright, knowledgeable and honest, things I endeavor to be in life, are the words I would use to characterize Bobby Luna and his staff. Bobby and the staff did an excellent job in representing me in court. They are very professional and articulate and VERY on top of being prepared before ever stepping foot into the courtroom. Bobby goes above and beyond to help and definitely puts the clients needs first. He was very helpful in resolving so many issues along the way and even after the fact, as my particular case was. He and his staff work with you to pursue the best route for your individual case and try to minimize your costs while being highly effective in the courtroom. And trust me, mine was no easy case! Ask for Jennifer

Just hired them. I feel like they real listen to me and rather than just convincing me to take the easy route (as all my other lawyers in the past) they are willing to fight for me. Custody cases are never easy especially when you have the situation I have. I can't tell you how much it meas to find someone willing to listen and help.

Bobby was awesome thorough and matter of fact years ago. THEN I needed a lawyer again and decided to go again with Bobby, but he was to busy and I got the other attorney Jennifer Holdener who is part of Bobby's office. Dear Lord where do I start. I have paid over $10,000 and I am still not divorced. Between her and her paralegal they couldn't do anything. It took four months for them to supposedly set up my child support. They couldn't do it I ended up having to call and set it up myself. (it took two weeks to get my child support up and running myself). Jennifer constantly kept telling opposing counsel that her fax was broken or that she wasn't receiving phone calls from opposing counsel. I had to call over and over again because her workload I guess was so large that she constantly "forgot" or got "too busy" to draw up our agreement or contact anyone. I regret with every fiber of my being hiring her. I was in an abusive marriage and hid money behind pictures in my house for a year to try to escape I saved a total of $500 which I put towards my retainer. We went to court twice, she drew up one Marriage Settlement Agreement, and one 4 hour Subpeona from opposing counsel and I am past $10,000. 90% of my bill is from phone calls and emails. You will pay anywhere from $35-80 for an email and $50-200 for a one - three minute phone call. She did not prepare me for my subpoena, she wrote the wrong information to the mediator, I went four months with no child support, they billed me incorrectly for phone call time. The list goes on and on! PLUS her paralegal right in the middle of everything all of a sudden doesn't work there anymore. I am devastated. I would steer clear of this law office they are a cash grab. I feel completely taken advantage of and robbed. Bobby and Jennifer if you are reading this you really hurt me. I needed you in such a vulnerable horrific time you really let me down. You really should contact me about making this right.

Don't go anywhere else. This is the attorney you need on your side. Bobby came into my case after my ex hired an attorney on the first day of trial. Bobby is amazing. He is confident but not arrogant. He knows the law and is respected by court officials. He is fair and honest. He does what is right. I am eternally grateful for having found Mr. Luna and for the work he did for me. My ex did not stop after the ruling and Mr Luna has continued to be by my side.
