As Stated below and from several others who worked with Paul Chan stay away. He was very rude and talks very negatively. I did not mind his attitude but he was a terrible representative as well. He did not help with the case at all, and made statements against me during the investigation. He also appeared to have a relationship with the state, and could be involved with getting kickbacks . If your a professional looking for License defense stay away from this guy! you've been warned. if you have questions feel free to ask me or the 4 other people said the same thing. Check his yelp***

I called Paul Chan after surrendering my RN license several years prior secondary to my addiction issues and drug diversion from my employer. My case was severe as I was very sick and diverted a lot of narcotics. I thought that getting my RN license reinstated was an impossibility due to the severity of my situation. I told Paul my story, and he told me that he could help me get my license back. To be honest, I didn’t believe him, but I believed in his ability to do his best for me. It was inconceivable to me that I would ever be granted a second chance. To make a long story short, I was successfully reinstated and got my RN license back with him by my side every step of the way. I cannot say enough good things about Paul. He not only possesses the qualities that make him a good lawyer, but he cared about me as a person and helping me get back on my feet. My RN license 3 1/2yrs ago was reported to the Board of Nursing for medication errors that happened while I was employed in the hospital and was terminated afterwards. Initially, I retained an Administrative Attorney who handled license cases such as mine. I waited over another year and a half before the BRN sent me the Accusation notice to which I replied back right away. I saw the law office of Jeff Kravitz who was based up in the Sacramento area. I highly recommend any RN facing or may face Board disciplinary actions to retain Mr. Kravitz because it is your license at stake here I cannot stress this enough to my fellow RN colleagues. DO NOT deal with the BRN on your own it would be a very poor choice to do so and a very poor outcome with heavy financial consequences as well. I made a poor decision and drove home after drinking. Got charged with DUI, which was reduced to a "wet reckless" in court. Mr. Paul Chan helped disclose this to the BRN within the 30 day window. Mr. Chan is a great lawyer, he fought for me from the first time I reached out to him. Kept in touch with me throughout the whole process. Answered all my emails, and I have to admit they were excessive! lol He responded immediately anytime I reached out to him and broke down the process so i actually understood what he was talking about. He is well liked by other lawyers, and is well known in Sacramento. I couldn't have asked for a better outcome. I hope I never need him again but if I do he will be the first person I call.
