When I first met Daniel Del Rio, I was met with friendliness and openness. He listened to everything I had to say. And when he took on my case he kept in constant communication throughout the whole process. And if there was something I didn’t understand, he explained it very well so I could understand. He is a great man and an amazing attorney. I would recommend him to anyone who needs an accident attorney.

Mine was not as serious an accident as some, but I was a pedestrian who had a walk signal with me, struck by a motorist who didn't see me. I made a number of errors in not immediately reporting the incident and waiting to negotiate with the person to hit me rather than calling a lawyer immediately. My injuries were not life threatening, but the driver broke her side mirror off on my upper arm and had sent me hurtling on my back landing fifteen or twenty feet from the point of impact. I had soft items in my back pack. It could have been much worse than a bruised arm elbow and wrist. I walked home from the scene about a half a mile or so having exchanged numbers if not calling 911 as I perhaps should have. By morning I felt bruised enough where I had been hit and where I had landed, I though I'd best go into the ER. No fractures, but definite contusions, and who would pay? I first called Berg since it happened in San Francisco, they are a reputable local firm, and were willing to hear my case. Berg quickly did an investigation, but felt that it would be best handled by Daniel Del Rio at the time and I called them. The Santa Rosa fire disrupted a lot of business as usual at that time. Berg's case load was high. I took the recommendation, and I was not disappointed. With Daniel Del Rio's firm taking over, I well advised on how to record and chronicle my medical follow up appointments and how to make my case succinct, clear and convincing. I am grateful to Mr. Del Rio for his good counsel and to his competent staff for seeing that all my documentation was in order and that my statements were fair and accurate. There is great satisfaction from winning a reasonable settlement and being able to move on -- looking both ways at intersections with a bit of extra caution, of course.
