Lisa helped my husband and me with our process of getting a Green Card last year 2017. He found Lisa online and it was a great decision we made to go with her immigration service because I’m Japanese so it was very helpful for me that she explained details of immigration law in Japanese. Also I asked her a bunch of small questions that I was concerned about immigration process via email and she always gave me an answer. Before our immigration interview, Lisa went through everything of our case that our interviewer would ask. That got us prepared and was very helpful. Even though our phone’s signal was terrible at the time, she was patient and we really appreciated it. We are thankful for her patience and effort throughout the process. Highly recommend her.

I was unable to get ESTA due to my Immigration status. She did set up meeting by Skype for my situation because I am living in Japan. After that emailed me very periodically that is made my feel without worry all that time even I was far from her.

Where to begin....first and foremost I would like to begin by thanking Lisa for all of her patience and hard work. Starting the immigration process was something my husband and I had been dreading for a very long time. We had two other consultations with different attorneys but they were not able to answer most of our questions. When we met Lisa, it was like night and day. She answered all of our questions without hesitation. She was confident and that put us at ease. She was always in touch with us via phone or email. Some of her emails were after regular business hours... like 11:00pm.. :) that definitely showed that she cared about our concerns no matter the time what it was. He always made sure to explain the stage of the process we were in in both English and Spanish, which we appreciated. He has a good sense of humor :) which helped us when we were preparing for my husbands consulate interview. Adrian, also helped in delivering several messages to Lisa and Brian. He always made sure we would have a response in a timely manner. My wife and I met online a little over 3 years ago and we developed a good friendship. She travelled to the US to visit her friends and conduct some work-related business; we met several times during these trips. Eventually, on one of her visits, I asked her to marry me and we went off, completely unplanned, and got married. Soon afterwards, we found ourselves in a potential visa fraud nightmare and our newlywed happiness quickly turned to panic. I called several offices to find advice and direction working with INS and the only response came from Kobayashi Law office; other offices did not respond at all – and when I came in person to offices they were closed. Kobayashi Law office returned my calls – even in the evenings they frequently returned my calls. We arranged a meeting, and received help, counsel, and assurance of support as we went through the adjustment of status procedure to apply for a green card. I was particularly impressed with knowledge of processing and time frames – when they said INS would respond in 2 months – they were right on! Consistently, over-and-over, we stepped through the spousal petition, application for work permit, and application for permanent residence green card – they gave us a clear idea of what to expect so that as appointments for biometrics, and letter that we received came in – there were no surprises. At the interview at the INS office at the Federal Building on Capitol Mall, Sacramento, we felt more comfortable because she was there to accompany us and that was no problem. My wife and I both felt that the cost was very reasonable and there were no unexpected costs. Kobayashi Law office was also accommodating to our paying in several payments over several months and we were very appreciative they were patient with us. Ms. Kobayashi and her staff, Brian and Jessica – each provided support – even emotional support when needed – that helped keep us calm and focused on the procedure and process we were going through. The counsel and personalized service and attention was exceptional – the office location is convenient – near Cal Expo – plenty of parking, no fees for parking – the office was open and able to schedule appointments around my work schedule so that I did not have to miss work. My wife and I both feel very indebted and thankful for the help Kobayashi Law office provided for our family. We both recommend this attorney without reservation and know that clients will find the same excellent service and support for this office.

Having Lisa as a lawyer for my immgration process was very smart decision I made. She made me feel comfortable to discuss all the issues I had for the immigration and gave me many good advises on preparing legal documents for the green card. I recieved my green card with in three month after submitting the final doucuments!! Lisa was knowledgable, responsible as well as nice and caring. I just finished all my process with lisa and thanks to her knowledge, responsiveness and help everything turned out great. She's always in touch with you. She made the orocess very easy and she is also very understandable wgen it cones to driving. I live 3.5 hours always and she would always try to get everything ready for me so I didn't travel a lot of times. Given the complexity of our case, we had some down time due to lost citizenship certificate of secondary sponsor, a likely deportable felony, prior asylum filing and voluntary departure and being in different status in the US the last 22 years from F1, to H1B and undocumented. Lisa's strength is in understanding family's need to be together. US citizen daughter as primary sponsor. Lisa understood the law and the strategy to pursue, absolute professional.
