John Vega is the kindest, most honest man. His expertise and gentle way was exactly what we needed. He helped me to obtain a restraining order and guided my daughter through her her abusive divorce with honesty and reassurance. If you want someone who knows what they are doing-hire Joh Vega.

If you are questioning even one ounce to hire mr vega.. do not. He is not a fighter, he can’t even get names right in court, he does not communicate nor prep you for court or for what’s to come.. you are lucky to get a few words in.. he left out soooo much evidence & didn’t do anything to try and save my family members from being taken. He is the reason we lost the case. If you want to keep your child in your care, DO NOT hire mr vega.

Very honest attorney. He will not make fake promises. He tells you from the get-go if he can assist you.

I had my consult and knew the case in full detail with every party involved. He felt confident that there's no reason I wouldn't be able to get the baby back and that it was good to have representation. He canceled on me Friday afternoon due to a conflict of interest when court hearing was Monday morning. I had no representation for myself and I lost my baby. Should have read the reviews before consulting with him. I did at least receive my my money back, but I lost my child over it.

The lady who answered my call is so freaking rude it is unbelievable, SHE GAVE ME NO HOPE . Told me that I am too late to be able to get my siblings , cuts me off every once in a while , ANSWERED A WHOLE OTHER CALL AND TOLD ME TO WAIT . she’s horriiible like literally the worst . All I wanted was some hope , and she literally ruined everything for me

I never met John Vega. I spoke to his assistant of 15 years. She’s a very angry rude woman. I also spoke to another woman that works there and she was also very rude. I never do reviews, but I felt the need to let people know that before spending thousands of dollars, they should go with people that genuinely want to help. I should’ve of read the other reviews before even attempting to call this place.

Bereft parents are in pain like no other. From the first interview, John Vega instilled hope and impressed us with his knowledge and quiet confidence. Our case is so complex, but John seems to thrive on the curve balls that generate creative answers built on his experience.

I hired Mr. Vega and the amount of unprofessionalism and overage charges have been a constant issue. He never contacts me after court cases to explain what the outcome was and when I have communication through email, I end up being charged a thousand dollars for a few emails. He doesnt take the time to actually help the case but rather show up and act as if he had planned some sort of dialogue. His office is crummy and there's no going around it. I had to chase the assistant to get information. If you want a lawyer with open communication and effective procedures, this guy isnt it. If you ever do speak to him outside of the court room, be expected to be over charged for every word. I have wasted so much money without any sort of progress. I wanted to fire him as a lawyer but it took two months for the assistant to even tell me I cannot and they need to file paperwork to do so. This office is a joke.

Mr. Vega came to us highly recommended by another attorney, so we reached out to him immediately and set up a consultation to review a case we were involved in. Mr. Vega and his Legal Assistant, Mirella, were immediately responsive. Mr. Vega heard our story and shared his perspective - we knew right then that we needed and wanted his help. Right away, we knew we'd hired the right attorney. His knowledge and expertise helped to guide us throughout a very long, often difficult, always stressful case. He and Mirella were responsive to all of our questions. They made sure our paperwork was complete and met each of the court's deadlines. And Mr. Vega helped set our expectations for each court hearing. At each hearing (and there were many), Mr. Vega sat with us and quietly explained what was happening (because it wasn't always obvious). He was reassuring but not placating. He made sure we had the facts and helped us to understand the nuances of decisions. Whenever there were opportunities to participate in court hearings, Mr. Vega was confident, respectful, and thorough. He also took a very positive approach to the case, even in the darkest hours. He never disparaged other parties but rather took a calm, logical, and respectful approach to all aspects of the case. This helped us stay focused on what was important rather than what was dramatic or emotional. Mr. Vega always returned our calls (if he wasn't able to take them when in office) and Mirella, a wonderful calming presence herself, made sure he always got our messages. Both of them responded to emails timely, even when our emails were very, very long and full of questions. I honestly don't know how we would've gotten through the case without either Mr. Vega or Mirella. We are eternally grateful. Because of their hard work and dedication, we have an incredible family. I can't recommend them enough!

Distraught over my current situation, with several lawyers telling me there was simply no hope for my case, I went to Mr. Vega with high hopes as he was heavily recommended by friends of the family. It was there where I was met with welcoming arms by him and his paralegal Mirella. They were attentive and ready to help me by any means. They made themselves available to me even after business hours and on weekends. When meeting with Mirella she was as honest as possible with me, which was refreshing after meeting with so many people who used confusing terminology and scare tactics for their own vendetta, she truly levels with you and is passionate about helping. I went in looking for a lawyer, and I got that and so much more, I got a support system that believed in me and the possibility of making my family whole again.
