Extremely dissatisfied. I opened a case with Jacoby & Meyers Dec 2021. I was sideswiped by a commercial moving company Nov 2021. Upon explaining the accident the firm assured me I had a case and it was pretty much guaranteed, the driver had already taken fault. The firm began the process, continued to assure me of my case with every call. I suffered a neck injury so I was directed to see a chiropractor. I was doing the best that I could financially, with my vehicle still being wrecked, still trying to maintain my daily routine to provide for my family. They were calling daily emailing and paper mailing appointment reminders for chiro and whatever else was being scheduled for me. Struggling, but I finally finished my treatment. Little while after my car was finally repaired. This is when everything stopped. No calls emails anything. I was following up regularly to check on the status of my case, sometimes I would get a response other times it would take days. I went through about 6 different depts with the firm until finally making it to negotiations. I was excited to see outcome of almost a year, struggling and stressed. On and off of work due to my injury, driving and Lyft’ing to and from appointments, getting my children to and from their activities. Finally I received a settlement offer for 10 grand. I was satisfied, until I received the “final”settlement for 2 grand after the firms expenses. It was never explained to me or even spoken how this step worked which I’m sure why this is why I no longer heard from them compared to the start of the case. I can easily say I spent that same 2 grand over the span of this case on Lyfts time spent at appts rides and other inconveniences. This firm is truly overrated and I will never recommend them. Service was horrible. I can only imagine how many clients are being taken advantage of, same clients who are truly suffering injuries and trusting this firm to have their best interest. Oh and btw I still have not received my final settlement check.

Cleared my calendar for the 15 minute consultation. 25 minutes after scheduled time I get a call from his office telling me he can't make it for the call and rescheduled for following day. I agreed. The 2nd time = no phone call. No email. Just a straight no-show. Cleared my calendar 2 days in a row for this. What an utter waste of time. Based on his website and what I need - it was down to 2 attorneys for me. The 2 no-shows made the decision easy. Not a very professional law corporation.

I am so glad I went with Attorney Yesenia Acosta for my US citizenship application. Five stars for her great work and attitude! Everything went very smoothly from getting all the documentation in to going to the interview. She is very experienced, knowledgeable, answered all my questions and concerns. I am very grateful to have found Yesenia Acosta and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for assistance with immigration.

I was referred to you by a friend. This is not the experience I expected. The first part they are really friendly then it goes to the lien negotiator who says it’s going to take another three weeks. This is after a call two months ago where they told me it was going to liens. I saw one chiropractor for several visits and one quack who wanted me to get injections for one visit. Three weeks to negotiate that??? Meanwhile the corporation is collecting interest on my settlement payout. DO NOT USE JACOBY AND MEYERS

AVOID AVOID AVOID. Signed a release in may of last year for my payment and i still have not received it in my hand. Since dealing with this law firm I've had multiple claims adjusters assigned to me, The current one i have Crystal is very impatient, not reliable, will not follow up on voicemails and when you do get her on the phone she explains everything so fast it's hard to understand. Update as of 06/29- I found out that instead of handling my medical bills like they were suppose to J&M failed, Now the department of treasury has a collection in my name. J&M was suppose to handle this so on top of me STILL not getting payed I also OWE a debt to the department of treasury to the sum of $3,794.00. Again avoid this "firm" at all cost. Just go to a REAL LAWYER someone that is in your favor, at the end of the day the client suffers. 07/25/22: Dalia we've tried to contact you many times before. both attorneys and myself and quite frankly were tired of talking to the voicemail. I'm starting to feel like this is a racial matter, I signed a release on 04/17/21 there is absolutely no reason why I should not have gotten my funds yet. Everytime I am able to get through someone i get a run around, "we can't talk to you about it" why not????
