This firm, especially Cecilia Brennan who handled my case, demonstrated consistent and up-to-date knowledge of current employment law, knew when to push and when to 'dial it back,' consultated with me at every turn to make sure I was comfortable with the direction we were headed, and garnered a respectable award very successfully. In addition to having a full host of legal talents, the reason I chose to go with Cecilia -- in particular -- is she was the first and only attorney that I called that wasn't interested just in the money. In fact, her first words to me were, "I'm so sorry this happened to you," and I needed that sincere compassion, levelheadedness, consistency and patience after suffering from unlawful discrimination. Not only was there a great resolution, but the time she took to get to know me, also brought me further healing. She had my back. Lastly, I feel like Cecilia and her firm would have been fierce, informed, and highly skilled in court. Though I chose to settle for personal reasons, the only regret I have in not going to trial is that it would have almost been fun to right the wrongs, and watch Celilia and HKM in action. He is intelligent, a great critical thinker, and his logic is incredible. He has great empathy and is very knowledgeable and helpful. Do not give the file to anyone else. A good lawyer means that you are relieved of the stress of what may not have been considered in your case.
