Just want to say a thank you to Cecilia Brennan. I was recently hospitalized at the West LA VA and then transferred to the UCLA Ronald Reagan Hospital for some specialized surgery. As you can imagine, who-pays-what was an issue. Cecilia spoke to the people, cut through the red tape, and settled matters down.

First and for most I want to thank god for connecting me with HKM attorneys. Before I connected with them, I talked to several bad attorneys that said I didn’t have a case against my company who clearly discriminated against me for years. It was so frustrating and emotionally draining knowing that I’m getting discriminated against by my employer who I worked hard for over 7 years and to get fired unjustly. I talked to about 15 total lawyers, which most of them said I didn’t have a case and then I spoke with Cecilia Brennan who was an attorney from HKM. This is when my prayers was finally answered. Cecilia Brennan went above and beyond to provide participants in our workshop an excellent training on the legal considerations of starting a worker owned cooperative.
