We hired Britney Malpiede to prepare and litigate in Family Court on two occasions. She arrived prepared with full knowledge of the scope of our complex situation and was able condense our argument into simple rational terms for the court, which she articulated with great skill and respect. Defending us during a short Ex Parte hearing, Brit was able to to completely change our Judge's initial bias by convincing the Judge to take recess and read the strong declaration with evidence she prepared. After which I was awarded Joint Legal Custody. Brit is both professional and empathetic; she gives advise based on experience and careful investigation. Brit showed she clearly has good standing/ reputation with the San Diego Court. This matters a great deal. When she spoke, the Judge listened. I couldn't not say the same for the other party's aggressive counsel. If you are searching for an attorney, look no further. You are in good hands with Britney Malpiede.

If you are involved in a family law case I couldn’t stress the importance of a good lawyer enough. I talked to, and was disappointed by several Family Law offices before meeting Ms. Malpiede back in 2014. When she began working on my case I was in a really bad place in terms of being able to see my kids. Ms. Malpiede always conducted herself professionally and had the foresight to help me “go high” when the opposing party “went low” and to always put the children first. Now, thanks to Ms. Malpiede I am able to be with my kids every week. I’m very happy with and grateful for Ms. Malpiede’s work.

Ms, Malpiede went up against my ex's attorney who's slogan was " When the rings come off, the gloves do too!" She remained professional, maintained her cool and ultimately stayed (professionaly, I might add) the course to achieve the best result to my case. She is knowledgeable about military divorce(which mine was), compassionate and supportive throughout the entire process, even though I was an ex-wife who hadn't worked in four years, was blindsided by this process and she explained everything to me, this helped me SO MUCH and for which I remain eternally grateful!! This is, by far, the best attorney to handle your divorce and I will be referring a couple of my friends to her as she is the best person possible!!!!

Ms. M did her best to start divorce proceedings with my separation. At times, she may have been a bit overwhelmed with this new field of hers, but she is in a good office where other veterans step up if needed. Her major error, I thought was to prematurely lock out retirement funds with no notice, a move which when (appropriately) rescinded, cost me more in fees for her time. I never completed my proceedings with her due to expense (had to go pro per,) but I think overall she did a good job, dealing with us both!
