Caitlin represented me throughout my divorce. She guided and provided all the right information to aid in achieving a quick process. Allowing me to help with many of the items to help keep the costs down. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing good representation. Cannot thank her enough!

I can not say enough positive things about Caitlin. Let me start by saying that I had hired another firm for an out of state move away request by my sons mom. I met with the head of the firm and was promised a team approach to the preparation of the case and what I received in preparation was the firms assistant attorney. I was not in good hands. He had no plan in place and the attorney I hired was no where to be found. This is a very stressful time in a persons life. The fear of losing a child , responding to false declarations by the other party and the financial strain is a life altering event. Compound that with inept representation and it is very unsettling. I felt helpless and scared of what was to follow. The one positive I can say regarding my representation is that when I informed them that they were no longer representing me, they referred Caitlin Steele. During my initial phone call and initial consultation with Ms. Steele, I knew I was in good hands. She immediately came up with a plan based on the facts presented to her and was hired. Caitlin not only helped me win my case, she helped me prepare for the meeting at the court house and gave me great advice on not what to say and things to say. She is a total Rookie!!! She took me for $4,500.00, for barely did any work. Her first and only court appearance for me was a disaster. She was late and then very nervous. My divorce involved a house, IRAs, etc. She couldn’t handle it, so SHE quit my case and bow-ed out. And kept my money.

What an amazing family law attorney! I have known Ms. Steele for nearly 5 years. She represented me during my divorce and first custody battle in 2013. She recently represented me through my complex move away custody request. This move away request involved a forensic child custody evaluation and was about as complicated a case as it gets. I'm a military father who was dealing with an ex-spouse that wanted to only give me minimal custody. I wont go into the detailed reasons for my ex-spouses behavior, however I will say that my daughter was not old enough to advocate for herself. There was no solid evidence that my daughter did not belong with her mom and because of that it was a very tough case. That is one of the reasons I needed Ms. Steeles services as I knew she was proficient enough to handle all parts of the case. The time it took me to get my my move away request heard was about approximately 9 months in San Diego. During this time Ms. Steele was always available and gave sound advice. She was a champion for me and I'm so thankful for her. She takes your case personal and makes it a point to give you her best effort. Another reason I highly recommend her is that she is an excellent communicator. This is invaluable in this court system, especially if you need things to move along. As an a example there was a date that the judge opened on the calendar for us to be heard, because Ms. Steele was able to articulate how important it was to be heard I was able to secure that date. Very long story short if you hire Ms. Steele as your attorney you are guaranteed the best outcome you can possibly get. She worked tirelessly, gave sound advice, and promptly returned my calls. I consider Ms. Steele a part of our family and I'm thankful for her being apart of our lives. I ended up with custody of my daughter and a very fair agreement that was in the best interests of my daughter. Thank you for everything Caitlin V. Steele!

I cannot express the gratitude and warmth that I feel for Caitlin V. Steele she fought for my son when no one else would. She knew that I was fighting a bully, but she was willing to push back without hesitation. She believed in me when no one else would.
