I believe he may be better at some areas than others as I can not speak for them but , aside from the bling which should have been the first sign , after reviewing the case and taking the $$ he was short and inhospitable. When appearing in court was always unprepared and never really offered counsel . I felt he had too much on his plate to handle and in turn it showed up in his poor representation . After failing at the case I have sought other legal counsel and have learned that this was not the only case of unsatisfied clients , many others have turned to other legal counsel to clean his mess up . Shop around before you settle with him , it could be your future .

Vik Monder is a crook. They are trying to charge me $8500 for consultation and no service. Don’t lose your money to these people.

In any legal situation to begin with, you need a lawyer who is expert in the area you're seeking help and prompt in addressing your concerns/anxiety. That will at least reduce some stress out of the whole situation. In a PC 243 e(1) (Domestic Violence, misdemeanor) case, we have hired a different lawyer in the beginning. While I'm not concerned about the legal skill-set, the standout issue was how the service was delivered. We would have to follow up several times before we get an update. It was like a terrible post-sale customer service. Moreover, we would give him cues on what's the possible next steps instead the lawyer helping us in that direction. With stress levels escalating, we have finally started to figure another lawyer and found Vik after interviewing few others. First, we got a face time with Vik. After weeks of stressful follow-ups with other lawyer, this one meeting changed it all. Vik was honest. All other lawyers had a common phrase that they will try but no guarantee on getting the charges dropped. That's where the conversation would end. Vik started the conversation on a similar note, but the clear differentiator was the extended discussion with data. The data included such as the number of such cases/similar circumstances and end results. In a moment, you know your chances and that's the big stress reliever. And he has a plan which he started to execute quickly. Most importantly, I never had to ask him for the update as we were always kept up-to-date and what is expected next and when. This clarity kept us calm and relaxed. of course, the result is the charges dropped before arraignment and arrest record set to detention only. Even when you know there's no wrong-doing, it's important to have a great lawyer like Vik at your side especially in situations like us, first time in your lifetime when law enforcement staring at you. You're already in a confused state as to why and then having a lawyer who's not so attentive can take your life for more spin. And further, Vik continued to respond when any follow-up questions after the retainer agreement ended. Such a terrific human-being who understands and empathize with his clients. Consider Vik as your best choice when in need and I'm sure he will not disappoint. Thanks very much Vik, you're the best.

I was lost and didn’t know what to do, but thankfully I ran into Vik Monder. He made the process extremely easy for me and he even managed to not get any charges filed (even before the arraignment)! Vik made what could have been horrible process, into something manageable and made it clear how the whole thing would unfold. After being accused of embezzlement and having 3 felony charges this guy right here was able to drop 2 felonies and one reduced to a misdemeanor I couldn't of made a better choice on hiring this amazing attorney who WILL NOT let you down and actually cares about you there is no price I wouldn't pay for this guy if I ever need him but hopefully I don't again lol ! We have never been in this situation before so we had no idea what to expect from an attorney. My son and I met with Vic and he detailed everything for us. He was very sympathetic to our case and made my son feel very at easy. He didn't pull any punches and told us everything to expect. He gave us some ideas what to do in advance to help his case. We found when he went to court it really helped. Vic is an attorney on your side that doesn't try and make you feel like your getting ripped off. Very communicative always quick with responses .
