Daphne was an absolute god send! Through my first consultation Daphne equipped me with the proper language to be used with my employer to ensure i was claiming my rights as an employee. She also had my back when I wasn't given a fair deal during my employment separation. Trust me you don't want to navigate these legal matters on your own. You need Daphne on your side! Dont settle for less.

I contacted Daphne though her website and completed an intake form, heard back the same week with follow up questions. I was asked to email over any documentation, I sent e-mails and screenshots from my employer. Daphne & her team quickly got back to me with guidance that truly saved me! I was discriminated against and had no idea of my rights. I was not even sure that I could contact a lawyer because it was "company policy" my best advice is to reach out with your questions/concerns and let a lawyer guide you! I would hire her 100% she was actually the 2nd lawyer that I consulted with the first one sent me an email explaining he was not interested in taking on the case/ me becoming a client, it was titled "non engagement" BEFORE I GAVE UP I reached out to Daphne & I am so thankful, just her consultation alone saved me money for the time being.

She’s been great and helped me process through my maternity leave! I had a question about how long I can take and her guide on maternity leave provided clarity! My employer stated I had 8 weeks but after consulting with Daphne she shared they were wrong and that CFRA California regulations states I had 12! I brought it up to my employer and they confirmed I had 12 (but never once brought it up as an option). I feel as moms we get taken advantaged of sometimes and I’m so glad that Daphne brought attention and highlighted my rights as a mother to a newborn.

Daphne, I am so thankful for your help! When I was “laid off” from my full time job, I knew it was not due to Covid-19 as indicated in my final notice. It was due to my color of skin and my pregnancy. My employer had already laid off two people of color in the previous year. I never expected that I would be next. But it happened, and I was 6 months pregnant and it did. My direct supervisor then lied about the entire incident and thought he could get rid of me with a mediocre severance package. Ms. Delvaux is incredible at what she does. She is clearly very knowledgeable and passionate about supporting her clients and their rights. While my issue was resolved without legal action, she saw me through the entire (several month long) process. She provided continued consultation until it was resolved and was ready to pursue action if needed. I would recommend her to anyone in need of a lawyer.
