It was neither by plan nor design that I found myself facing criminal charges. This brief narrative is intended to help someone who finds themselves in a similar situation and is not sure what to do. The problem that I faced was exacerbated by the fact that my legal knowledge was limited to what I had seen of heard on television and movies.
