After spending time and money working with another firm who turned out to be completely ineffective, when it was time for the rubber to hit the road I was VERY fortunate to discover Juanita and her staff. I cannot say enough about how sharp, professional and focused she was at addressing my issue. She quickly shut the opposition down and left them with no possible response, and I am so very appreciative. These are some very sharp, capable folks. And I was charged LESS than the firm I began with, too, so it turned out to be a very satisfying experience. Thank you, Juanita.

I cannot say enough great things about Mellman & Mellman, LLP. I was helped by both Jacob West and Stuart Mellman with a restraining order. Jacob was ultimately the one who took over my case. He is an amazing lawyer! I wasn't planning on getting a lawyer, but when the person I had a TRO against filed a frivolous one against me, I knew I was going to need extra help. From the very beginning, Jacob was extremely communicative. He would call almost weekly to give me updates and was very responsive via email/phone. He made a very stressful and emotional situation easier. We won my case! Hopefully I won't need a lawyer in the future, but if I do, I'm going back to Mellman & Mellman. I hired Mr. Brumer in January of 2021 to represent me in a support arrearage case, and handicapped adult child support issue. Mine was a very challenging case with a time frame of over 30 years since the finalization of my divorce. I reside in Illinois, which made things a little more difficult. Harris accepted the challenge with grace, honesty, and integrity. We only met in person once during the entire process when I traveled to California for what we thought would be the final hearing. Everything had to be done by mail, phone, and computer. With his representation we proved that I did not owe any arrearage, but that I had actually overpaid on my child support. With his insight of the law, we set up an adult support order for my handicapped child. He was in the court room when I couldn’t be, and kept me posted every step of the way. It took over 14 months for a ruling but he remained dedicated and true until the final hearing. I would not hesitate to hire him again if needed. As a Retired Marine Corps officer, I expected the best from him and he gave a 110%. A true legal professional that cares about his client and justice.

Stuart and Juanita are the best! Had an ongoing tenant issue which carried on for over a year. I’m truly grateful for their experience and expertise with resolving the issue. Harris did an amazing job with my case. It was an extremely difficult case due to fighting off a false TRO, not once, but twice, multiple lies from the other party and with it being a contested divorce with minor children.
