When a family member was arrested, taken to jail, and I was not able to communicate with him, I called Ricson Dakanay. I felt helpless and scared. It was after hours, and I was able to speak to Ricson right away. Ricson patiently and empathetically listened to my concerns and the predicament my family member was in. He went to Southwest Detention Center the very next morning to speak to my family member, letting me know he was okay, relieving my worst fears.
