Sarah represented me for my divorce. She was informative, knowledgeable and helpful guiding me through what can be a a complicated divorce process . A divorce can or is a highly emotional process and her calm demeanor was beneficial to stay focused on what matters. Unlike my ex-spouse's attorney, her hourly rate and hours were very reasonable. I would recommend Sarah to anyone who is thinking about or going through a divorce.

I hired Sarah for my mediation, since my ex-husband had the means to hire a 'barracuda' lawyer. Sarah is a go-getter, is not afraid by anyone and the information she provides is exhaustive and complete. She is very responsive communicating when asked questions and also does not forget to follow up on time. The best compliment I can give her is actually what the judge told me after the mediation papers were signed: "Madam, I can tell you that I understand your situation, unfortunately I have to follow the law, but rest assured that your lawyer (Sarah) did an outstanding job and you got everything that was possible under the parameters of the law". I tried to get my ex to settle our case without lawyers since we had such of an easy case but she lawyered up which forced me to do also. I interviewed several lawyers and all I seemed to get was sales pitches and chest beating and obvious empty promises. I had sent a brief background to each so our time together would be optimum and I am sure none even read the info. Most barely even asked me questions they just talked. I finally found Sarah at Fleischer & Ravreby through a friend of a friend of a friend. She was professional from the first moment. She looks young but I could tell she was extremely intelligent, even keeled emotionally and no-nonsense. She actually read my background before I arrived and listened intently while taking notes after asking many discovery questions. She then gave me the run down of how she saw it working out and what tactics to use. She also gave me the best and worst case scenarios which gave me hope and also how to prepare for worst. She did the entire process which I felt was truly professional versus only blowing smoke. The best case scenario had me paying some alimony and some child support - which I would have no problem with if it were warranted. Child support should have been nullified but my ex claims to have our son more - I have him 70% of the time. The big problem was my ex is self-employed and makes the same money as I do but doesn't show on paper. Sarah recommended an occupational assessment and said it would be costly but worth it in the long run. I trusted her so I did it. When we finally went to court, it was like Ronda Rousey versus Pee Wee Herman. Sarah walked in with a file the size of 2 cinder blocks while the opposition had a spiral notebook. The Judge clearly read each case file beforehand and our file was obviously precise and direct while theirs was obviously nearly non-existent. Her fumbled around at each question while Sarah was direct and prepared. Cut to the end - we walked out into the parking lot afterwards and both had smiles from cheek to cheek. I did have to pay support - $19 per month! (Yes Nineteen). I could not believe it! We both had no idea it would be that good. You can shop around for price and you will get different answers - nobody truly knows because you cannot predict the opposition. But if you are going to pay someone, make sure they do the job engaged completely. Sarah answered all of my calls and emails and questions right away. She kept me informed but also made sure to optimize time as she was sensitive to keeping the bill down. Although she had many cases, she made me feel like I was her only case. She was so well prepared and strategic for court probably over-prepared just in case. And I couldn't be happier with the results. Look no further - Sarah is your best choice.

Having had two previous lawyer experiences which gave definition to the negative connotations that can give lawyer's a bad reputation, I was relieved to find Ms. Pinkerton, who I can characterize as professional and direct. I realized, after experiencing the civil court system for the first time, it was apparent to me teamwork was going to be the key to success. I put my trust in Ms. Pinkerton's advice and followed it succinctly. It is important to note like with any team, to accomplish success the lawyer and client need to be dedicated to a solution which both are willing to work for and be a part of. Ms. Pinkerton restored my confidence and made me believe there are no nonsense dedicated professional lawyers out there, but you still need to find them and in my experience that seemed hopeless until I was able to retain Ms. Pinkerton's legal expertise.

Still in the process of a 'high conflict' post-divorce custody conflict. The other party has made abuse allegations and many lies to the court. I used to represent myself but the stress made me hire someone who actually knew what they were doing! :-) Hiring Sarah was the best decision I've made in years. She listens, is assertive, knows her stuff and is highly ethical (the other party is not and the court eventually does pick up on it.) I feel so much more relaxed having her in my corner. We are a few weeks away from the 730 eval but am so glad I hired her.
