Patrick Griffin, criminal defense attorney - He is in practice for all the right reasons! Patrick was supremely beneficial in making sure my son’s life stayed on track and ultimately was able to have the charge dismissed, not even filed. My family and I will always owe a huge debt of gratitude. This case involved double the work: research, time and dedication due to the fact my son is in the Navy. Not to worry, Patrick has countless contacts. This wasn't just a civil case. Needless to say if weren't for Patrick, my son's future both in civil court and the Navy would now be quite a tragedy. Perhaps I should have started with the fact the he was innocent! And, it had to be proven? His rates are fair and reasonable. I know this from interviewing many others. During the interview with Patrick, it was an instant connection. He cited information and possibilities to pursue faster than I could write. Patrick was great!! I actually found Patrick because I was a juror on a DUI trial where he was the defense attorney. The case was kind of crazy and we voted not guilty because we didn’t feel the cop was honest. I ended up hiring Patrick for a suspended license citation a few months after the trial. He remembered me from the trial and he was great to work with. My case didn’t go to trial but I know if it would have I would have been in good hands. Patrick is so good in court, he made a boring DUI trial very interesting for us.

Referred a family member to Patrick for a DUI. Patrick got him off and my family could not be happier!! Money well spent. Hopefully this never happens again, but if it does, Patrick will be my first call.

I called to get help with a BS open container charge, and Steve suggested I contest it myself bc it was only a $280 fine. He spent plenty of time with me on the phone and gave me all the steps to take, and a lot of advice on how to contest the ticket, and even cross-examine the cop. I came away pleasantly surprised at how nice Steve was, and how helpful, especially considering it was just a free phone consultation (Steve wasn't making any money from it). Would highly recommend!

Well, this was my first ever need for a real lawyer other than a minor traffic ticket. Boy was I freaking out. I was losing sleep and fearful of jail and thinking the worst. After doing lots of research about my situation. I started looking for an attorney. I kept getting the runaround from atty's who didn't want to take a misdemeanor case due to the lack of $$$ and prob because they can make a ton more off the plethora of DUI clients out there. Anyway, Steve gave me plenty of time and answered all my questions during the first phone call, and again at the in person consultation. I had no worries about him showing up in court for me since his office is a stone's throw away from the downtown courthouse. He kept me reasonably informed along the way. With as much as I was obsessing over the situation, I prob had unreasonable expectations over the amount of correspondence I'd be receiving. Nevertheless, everything went according to plan, I was offered a great plea deal based on the facts of the case. I definitely would recommend Steve to anyone needing legal representation. I needed a traffic attorney who could rectify a bench warrant for an unpaid traffic ticket which turned into a misdemeanor. Before retaining Steve, I consulted with two other possible attorneys. The first attorney seemed intelligent, but I couldn't trust him as he sounded as though he only cared about completing a transaction, not to mention charging an exorbitant fee of $750. The second attorney seemed trust worthy, however, he didn't sound competent enough to rectify my warrant/misdemeanor in the best case scenario for me. Then after consulting with Steve, I realized he was the right choice as he met my criteria on trustworthiness, competency and like-ability. Not only did he charge a fair fee which was a fraction of the amount requested by the first attorny, but also he was professional, looked out for my best interests and achieved the desired outcome of reducing the misdemeanor to a minor traffic infraction. He performed great work and took good care of his client. I can't say you would receive all this from a larger commercialized traffic attorney firm with fancy slogans plastered all over the internet. I am taking the time to write this review as my way of saying thanks and a job well done to Steve.

I received a speeding ticket going over 80 on the 5 South and did a search for a lawyer and found Steve on ticketvoid.com I made an appt and paid him the small fee to handle the ticket. I have to admit, I was skeptical because I didnt see how he was going to get me out of the ticket but thought it was worth a try and certainly would save me time and the hassle of going to court.
