As a father of 3, going through a divorce after 22years here in SD, I could not have asked for better representation than I received from Ben Embry and team (Cecilia, Issac, Nicholas). I retained custody of my children, had alimony discharged and am happily moving on with our lives. This would not have been possible without the straight forward, prompt and committed nature of this Firm. My great thankfulness and appreciation to Ben and team for their hard work and dedication to making clients feel like they are in good hands.

David was referred to me, by another lawyer that practices in a different field. From my first call with David, I could immediately tell that was very well-versed and experienced in his practice. He made himself immediately available to help me, even giving me his cell phone number. From our first call, he sought to clearly understand the details of my issue. I initially wanted to take a different route, but David calmly explained the pros on cons of the different options that were available to me. Knowing that much detail of these options, can really only come from a tremendous amount of experience that can't be faked. It is so difficult to find the right people, and I feel I got really lucky finding David for my legal needs. I plan to continue to use him for any additional matters, and I highly recommend him to others.

I can honestly say this firm was amazing with billing and did not try to take all my money as most firms do. Nicholas is my favorite person there, he is so patient and understanding especially with all the stress that comes with this process and really listens to your concerns. Ben Embry was on my case and is a parent as well so he gets it. All my phone calls and emails were answered within a timely manner and nobody ever gave me the run around.

I feel like I got the run around. I did a consultation and gave my spill on everything in detail - was told I was going to get a call back same day and called four days later ... no movement forward. No links, nothing. After a month of no response or anything to move forward with, I'm told my emails were spammed and then a week after that of no response that I can't be helped. Thanks. That's $200 down the drain. I understand I have pay issues but poor communication is a red flag.

This review is long over due, I want to thank Nick, Kaylin and Ben for taking on my difficult case and representing me. I has consulted with others who only planted fear and made me lose hope. Thanks to a fellow coworker who recommended them to me. I won my case and had the best representation! I am forever grateful to them and definitely will be recommending Embry Family Law to ALL my family and friends.

I stumbled across this firm when searching for a good and honest family lawyer in the San Diego area. I proceeded to call and had the pleasure of speaking with Nicholas. He is THE main reason why I agreed to pay $250 for my initial 1 hr. zoom interview with Ben. To be quite honest, I didn’t really care for any of the staff at this firm other than Nicholas. He is extremely personable and friendly and made me feel at ease during this nerve wrecking process. He took the time to talk to me on the phone for almost an hr. and walked me through the process, which allowed me to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I truly appreciate all of your help Nick! Although I didn’t really care for the staff at this firm, I do have to give this firm a 5 star for being an honest and professional law firm. This is hard to come by. They didn’t hesitate in returning any unused funds and because of this I have referred many of my friends and patients. Hi hired Ben, Kaylin, and Nick, through the pandemic, I wanted to file for divorce for a spouse that I had been separated for almost 10 years . He was nowhere to be found and I was tired of going to the courts and asking for help . I’ll I have to say is that this team is amazing and very knowledgeable team of professionals in family law. There was a lot of communication and emails and phone calls back and forth to let me know how things were going . It took time because of the situation with the pandemic but they informed me of every step. I was super happy with the results and their way of handling the situations . Yes I would definitely recommend family law to anyone stressing about a divorce or anything else being handle at family law .
