Starting in December 2015 I was thrust into a custody battle and move away. Someone never really thinks they would ever be put into that scenario as a parent. At the beginning I was overwhelmed with emotions with stress and fear of the unknown leading. In the midst of this all I went on a search for great family attorneys and all roads led to Shana. Shana was very understanding of the situation, extremely knowledge , and laid a course of action on the first day. She was extremely diligent from the first day to the last. Shana worked with me on my concerns and ambitions not only in the courtroom but outside it as well. Shana was outstanding in court with great ethics. Shana will win and do it with integrity. She has great I really felt that Shana was as invested into this trial as I was which is an invaluable feeling when you are going through such a stressful time in you life. The piece of mind that you have a good attorney, friend, and teammate in your corner is exactly what everyone needs during such an event and is exactly what Shana provided. Shana helped me get the time I wanted with my daughter and for that I am forever thankful. I pray i am never in this situation again but if I am Shana will be the only attorney I call. Thanks Shana!

We hired Shana Black as our attorney through a referral, and I can't express enough, how grateful we are. Shana has helped me so much I can’t thank her enough. She has fought for two years until I got full custody of my daughter back and still hasn’t stopped fighting. I'm not the one to go and online and write reviews. Shana has gone above and beyond in helping me through my difficult case. For the past 2 years she had demonstrated that she genuinely cares and has always looked out for my best interest. She had been very helpful, every phone call, text, email, she has always been there to support me through my situation with sound legal advice. Shana is very understanding and very straight forward to what to expect in the outcome. She listened to my statement and fought hard for me in court. I am very happy with the results. I highly recommend her for her knowledge, professionalism, responsiveness and her caring and compassionate demeanor.

Shana does not follow through with making sure a case is completely settled. She had attitude the minute the money ran out instead of keeping her professionalism in the beginning when I paid her in full! She would ignore my calls and acted like a child towards the end being rude to me through texts messages. She is overloaded with cases no where did she ask me if I had any questions towards the final outcome to make sure as a client I was satisfied. Still till this day she will not answer my calls or texts message about a matter she did not complete that I paid her for!! She should show professionalism and curiosity till the end, if money was an issue she never once spoke to me as a mature adult about the additional fees that could come up.

Never called me back.

This woman goes above and beyond to help you! She is the real deal! I am very happy to have found her! You won’t regret! She is amazing!

The team were professional, helpful and very informative throughout my divorce process. If I had any questions they were timely in response and provided solid legal advise and services.
