Omid is an amazing person. He is honest and he is empathetic. He is very in tune with people and he can tell when people have good hearts. Single fathers, DO NOT USE THIS FIRM. My ex-wife and I attempted to use Kathy Minella as a private mediator for our divorce. Kathy was completely biased towards my ex-wife throughout the entire experience. Kathy told both me and my ex, I would not receive more then two days a week custody, because I supported my family and my ex, while my ex was a stay at home mother while I provided for my two children(5 and 3 years old). Kathy continued to refer to my ex as the primary care giver, due to me working and providing for my family. Kathy was persistent a judge would not grant me equal custody because of my living situation (living with family friends in a granny flat, while I continued to pay the mortgage while me ex resided in the home throughout the divorce process). Kathy manipulated my ex into thinking she had more rights as a mother then I did as a father. Kathy also stated I was prolonging the process by not coming to an agreement. After only four months of FAILED mediation, my ex and I got our own lawyers, after paying $4500 for Kathy’s so called mediation. I learned Kathy could not have been farther from the truth. Throughout my year long divorce, I went to court ordered mediation. The court ordered mediator saw through all of my’ ex’s bs and recommend 50/50 child custody. I went to court and the judge took the court mediator’s recommendations. I was granted 50/50 custody of my children. So, do not allow this awful firm to represent you as a parent. If you are a loving, caring parent, and want to be there for your children, do not allow this biased firm to lie to your face and waste your money! Go else where or lawyer up.

Omid is a great lawyer. The time and effort he put into my case was definitely felt. He has great empathy for his clients and that means a lot. There is not one time I can think of where I felt any lack of support. He gets personal where it counts while still maintaining a professional demeanor. My case was no where near perfect and it was definitely time consuming; however, I am so grateful to have had Omid as my representation. I would recommend him to anyone I feel can benefit from his services.

If I had one word to describe our counsel and experience with Minella law group it would be heartless, second would be careless.We contacted Minella law firm because Kathy was recommended from a friend, I believed after initially talking to her on the phone that we would be well represented. When it was time to obtain counsel we were told Kathy wasn’t available and we’re transferred to Elizabeth. During the entire preparation for our first formal hearing to discuss child custody, correspondence was lacks at best, oftentimes downright unresponsive. When we did finally meet face-to-face to discuss and prepare, we were made to feel as though we were burdens , we all were rushed, placated, and pacified that they are aware of all nuances pertaining to our case and that we are in good hands because they will handle it. We’ll the day of the big show, Elizabeth showed up extremely late blaming traffic, she never went over material with client before hand because the time left was time she needed to hustle and make back door deal with opposing counsel. She didn't go over what to say or what she discussed in private with opposing side. She was not prepared and carelessly convinced us that we should agree to a restraining order, which we never wanted to agree with. Stating that this is us showing that were compliant and only want what’s best moving forward. Well, it turned into a disaster that cost over $7500 for less than 20 hours of work. A worst situation than when we began, and to top it off having to see my kids while I am paying for a random court appointed supervisor who is I’ll equipped and hard to deal with, watching me hang out with my children for a couple hours a week. Minella law group prey on people in bad situations, they don’t care about coming to justice or fairness for both parties. They claim to care about the children ,if in fact that was true, they would do the right thing by actually listening, showing up and providing service. Best thing I did was get different representation. Wish I would’ve done it sooner. Save your Money. You’re gonna need it it to clean Up Minellas mess. Good luck to everyone struggling.

Rushed, unprepared and not sensitive at all to the severity of the case. This law firm made me feel like I was inconveniencing them at all times, dismissive of my wants and needs and an overall lack of professionalism that I find embarrassing considering how important this field is. They misinformed me and gave me a worse situation than what I could have had, made me go against what I wanted to do because "in their professional opinion taking this deal is ideal". Well it wasn't ideal for me or my children, it was ideal to paying them more, paying for child visitation which I didn't need and now am stuck with and in no way shape or form have they been tactful or sensitive to the situation that has affected my family. When the court date arrived, my attorney was embarrassingly late and completely unaware and ill prepared for the hearing. To top it off, they rarely returned my calls or emails but then had the audacity to charge me an arm and a leg for simply reading it or listening to my voice mail. Sloppy is really the only term that comes to mind when dealing with this law firm. I came to them for help and to alleviate my situation and all they did was put me more in debt and make my hill much steeper to climb. They are not only ridiculously overpriced but for the work they did I should be billing them. Truly an awful experience and I want to warn anyone from using this law firm because they have done nothing but add to my headache. They do not care about parental rights or the safety of children, they simply care about money and they aren't even shy about withholding that. Thanks for absolutely nothing Minella.

be aware of Julia Garwood works with other lawyer and damages your case a lot. she advised me to not to get restraining order, I didnt know at that time. unfortunately I know now that if i had resting order i had stronger case. She got a lot of money from me and she played games and didnt do anything for my case. if I could give her zero I would.

I have known Casey for years and we have worked on several cases together. I have also had the pleasure of seeing him in court. He represents his client to the fullest and is well respected within the family law community. He works hard for his clients to ensure they get the best result possible.
