Joshua Price's name came up a few times in AA meetings, as the attorney anyone charged with a DUI will need. CHP wrote me up for a felony DUI for a .04% BAC level, and I instantly started researching attorneys. Choose Joshua because Josh focuses solely on DUI cases, he is the specialist with all DUI matters including DMV and Criminal cases. Josh was always upfront and responded to emails within a day. I followed his recommendations of preparing for the court date including AA meetings and MADD class. At the end of the deal, Joshua was able to get the felony charges completely dismissed. Shortly after my case was completely dismissed, his office updated his website showing my case charges and results. The cases on his website are real, the results are real. Im living proof of it. I would recommend Joshua to anyone who was charged for DUI. Joshua is the first call, best call. He's worth every cent. It's your freedom.

Choosing a lawyer is tough. You're basically taking a leap of faith, hoping they'll be able to help you. I learned this the hard way when I hired Taibi and Associates ( see my review for this firm on Yelp). I imagine that most attorneys bring out their "A" game at the initial consultation hoping thatyou will go into contract with them. However, after signing the contract and paying the retainer things can change very rapidly. This is not the case with Joshua Price. What I really appreciated was his availability and guidance. He was always there to answer my questions and offer advice. He's more than just a lawyer; he's a coach, helping you every step of the way. Josh's expertise and experience were immediately evident. He understood the complexities of my case, which involved not only a DUI charge but also a collision with injuries. He came into the situation knowing exactly what I should do and when I should do it. He is experienced in knowing exactly what needs to be done to both satisfy the courts and get your life back in order. When you get a DUI, it is assumed that you are a raging alcoholic and it takes a toll on you mentally. Joshua passes no judgement and is an advocate of making sure that you are treated as a person and not just another statistic. Due to the embarrassing circumstances, I was reluctant to publish anything having to do with this incident. Most of my friends and family aren't aware that this happened to me (until now, ;-/ ) because I've always been the "example" pillar of the community, professional, law abiding citizen, etc. Onthe other hand, I'm human, and prone to making decisions that aren't always the best. I'm sharing this review for two reasons. 1. Josh and Amanda are worth their weight in gold. They were both attentive to my questions and understanding of my circumstances. 2. I hope to relay to whoever is reading this, that "yes, it can happen to anyone." I'd imagine, if you're reading this, then you're already in a position where you need Josh's help. Hopefully, you and everyone that was with you is okay. In regards to getting through the rest from here, Josh and Amanda are the right decision at this point. I've gone my whole life without issue or incident. I'm not a hard partier, I'm a family man, and always discourage others from "drinking and driving." I thought I knew where my "threshold" was. I'm a pretty good size guy at 6' and 220lbs. I can have a couple glasses of wine at dinner and not be "inebriated." WRONG. That's what happened. I was at a friend's house for a holiday and had champagne with dinner. No tequila shots. No pre-gaming. I drank water and had a hearty dinner. Don't count on any of that. I wasn't even swerving "all over the road" or obviously erratic. Ironically, I was most definitely driving while distracted with my phone and playing music, finding songs, etc. THAT was enough to move me enough within the lane to cause the CHP behind me to stop and ask questions. That's it. That's all it took for me to have a need to call Josh. Josh was recommended by a friend of a friend who knew him personally. Could I have gone through the process on my own? Probably. Would I have gotten the same results? Absolutely not. I had too many concerns that I wasn't going to risk any more on my own. I have a couple commercial licenses that were at risk. I couldn't afford to put my livelihood on the line because I felt "the system" was unfair and I could beat it with my super intelligence and ego. I had to make some tough decisions. Attorneys are not inexpensive. I had to ask if I could afford it. Ultimately, the answer was always, "I can't afford to NOT hire Josh." You're in a bind. It's going to be expensive. Expect it. But, DON'T fool yourself into thinking you're going to save money by going it alone. I bit the bullet and sent Amanda and Josh everything they asked for. Then sat down with him so he could explain what the most reasonable outcome I could hope for. He talked about best case scenario, worst case scenario, probable scenario, and made no promises to any of them. That needs to be key to your understanding when you hire ANYONE though. Every circumstance is different. Yours is different than mine. Given my circumstances, I can attest that Josh was able to achieve the best possible outcome to save all of my licenses. Could we have contested the case and gone to trial? Sure. We might have even gotten a better outcome. Josh would have gone to bat and I have every confidence he would have prevailed. But, ultimately, Josh secured a great outcome without the additional delay and expense, and risk. I'm confident in that. I'm also confident that I'm making the right decision to recommend him to you, despite my public embarrassment. Best of luck to you! Stay safe.

2023 was the year I landed my dream job. That all came crashing down when I left a bar Friday night. I met with family for dinner and had a few drinks to congratulate me on a new job. I was less than a mile from my home when CHP pulled me over for stopping a couple of feet past the limit line at a stop sign. I admitted to having "a drink" and blew a 0.09 BAC. I was placed in handcuffs and arrested for a DUI. As a brand new firefighter/paramedic, I was devasted. I did extensive research on hiring the best attorney in San Diego. My uncle, a retired Lawyer, recommended a few but I never found someone who understood what was at stake. It wasn't until I stumbled upon Josh. Things take time, especially in the courts. A car accident, with a doctor revoking my driver's license, created a court situation and dmv problem. Mr Price, and his legal assistant Amanda, navigated my issues, and with time passing, got charges expunged and my driver's license returned to me. Just breath, and be patient. Joshua knows his business, the DMV and the courts.

Incredible work done by Joshua and his staff. A DUI is a very serious experience and his office understands that as they take you through every step of the way. I blew a .14 and Mr. Price was miraculously able to negotiate that down to a WET reckless!!!! Joshua was also able to win my hearing with the DMV so my license did not get suspended. I never once had to appear for court. Getting an attorney can certainly be expensive but it is well worth it. If you care about you future and your career it is incredibly important that you get a situation like this handled by a professional that knows what they are doing at every step of the way. A DUI can take quite the toll on your life and adds tons of stress however life demands that you move on and keep up with your daily obligations. The most stress relieving thing I ever did was hire Joshua Price after I got pulled over for a DUI. Not knowing much about the process of what happens after getting a DUI, he was able to guide me through everything and make it seem like a breeze. Josh was super accessible, from taking phone calls out of office hours to emails throughout the day, I knew that he truly cared about my case. I was charged for a first offense DUI and pulled over for drifting out of my lane, at the scene I blew a .09% and at the station I blew a .11%. Having made one of the biggest mistakes of my life and not truly having any experience with the law, I was originally referred to a different attorney. Within a few weeks, I was definiteIy concerned about the experience I was having so I began looking for someone else and I am so thankful that it led me here. My first call to this team was with Amanda who was extremely diligent, caring, empathetic, and most of all knowledgeable. Follow up was immediate and I knew in my soul I had the right team for me. Knowledge is one thing but experience and wisdom are another. Joshua Price and his team not only communicated very well but were rigorous, honest, and consistent in this communication which is important when your world is thrown upside down because of poor choices. Don’t under estimate the stress that poor communication can have and in this situation you need as much of it as possible. You need to be making informed decisions and not simply gut ones as these decisions have long term implications. Throughout the process, we spoke candidly which was difficult for obvious reasons but Joshua and his team were always realistic with the options at hand. Please notice I used the word, “spoke”. This is not by accident. While there was a fair amount of email, there were always direct phone conversations that were never in a hurried or distracted fashion but focused as if I was their only client. Many people obtain an attorney in this situation in hopes of avoiding the consequences which may be ultimately possible however one thing I will say is that you will never be mislead, their integrity is top notch, and their application of the law and what they suggest is always realistic. In my situation, there was not doubt that I was in the wrong. Instead of working to persuade the legal system that I wasn’t, my goal was to minimize the consequences associated with my wrongdoing which is exactly what Joshua Price did. My recommendation is to contact them early on to understand your options, follow their directions to the letter, and let them guide you to obtain the best outcome possible for you all while keeping you fully informed through the process in a timely manner. The longer you wait to contact them the fewer options they will have to help and guide you. Ultimately, you are seeking an attorney because you have had a very poor outcome related to a poor decision. Don’t make it worse by contacting the wrong attorney who is just going to charge you for going through the motions. Call Joshua Price and his team and you will not be disappointed in the result. I can tell you my case was not dismissed however the outcome was acceptable given the circumstances and that is all I could ask for. Call them. You won’t be sorry you did

LOOK NO FURTHER! YOU FOUND THE ONE!! THE ONE WHO WIL GO OVER AND BEYOND FOR HIS CLIENTS!! Mr. Price is amazing and well educated in his profession as an attorney! He helped take on my DUI case which involved a bodily injury, I was facing heavy fines and 6 years in prison!! Mr.Price did not allow that to happen, he pulled every string and did everything he could to get my FELONY reduced to a Misdemeanor!!! He spent 3 years with me on this case and I couldn't have been happier. Very communicative, very organized, well worth the $$$! Just a few weeks after being diagnosed with Autism our son got into a car accident that injured another person. He was beginning to receive support and treatment after years of suffering, which now needed to be sidelined to focus on the accident. This was a complete nightmare. Never having been in the legal system before we did not know where to begin. Thankfully, a friend who was an attorney veered us toward Mr. Price. Mr. Price never gave up on my case and helped me greatly to get the offer I ended up accepting. He was easy to get a hold of and knew what he was doing. I was charged with a first offense DUI with an accident. He was able to win the DMV hearing and push when we hit a brick wall with the Prosecutor.  Mr. Price encouraged me to keep moving forward and found an issue in my case that he thought was worth pursuing at trial.  We finally got an offer for a WET prior to trial which I gladly accepted. I would highly recommend him.
