Due to the embarrassing circumstances, I was reluctant to publish anything having to do with this incident. Most of my friends and family aren't aware that this happened to me (until now, ;-/ ) because I've always been the "example" pillar of the community, professional, law abiding citizen, etc. On the other hand, I'm human, and prone to making decisions that aren't always the best.
I'm sharing this review for two reasons. 1. Josh and Amanda are worth their weight in gold. They were both attentive to my questions and understanding of my circumstances. 2. I hope to relay to whoever is reading this, that "yes, it can happen to anyone." I'd imagine, if you're reading this, then you're already in a position where you need Josh's help. Hopefully, you and everyone that was with you is okay. In regards to getting through the rest from here, Josh and Amanda are the right decision at this point.
I've gone my whole life without issue or incident. I'm not a hard partier, I'm a family man, and always discourage others from "drinking and driving." I thought I knew where my "threshold" was. I'm a pretty good size guy at 6' and 220lbs. I can have a couple glasses of wine at dinner and not be "inebriated." WRONG. That's what happened. I was at a friend's house for a holiday and had champagne with dinner. No tequila shots. No pre-gaming. I drank water and had a hearty dinner. Don't count on any of that. I wasn't even swerving "all over the road" or obviously erratic. Ironically, I was most definitely driving while distracted with my phone and playing music, finding songs, etc. THAT was enough to move me enough within the lane to cause the CHP behind me to stop and ask questions. That's it. That's all it took for me to have a need to call Josh.
Josh was recommended by a friend of a friend who knew him personally. Could I have gone through the process on my own? Probably. Would I have gotten the same results? Absolutely not. I had too many concerns that I wasn't going to risk any more on my own. I have a couple commercial licenses that were at risk. I couldn't afford to put my livelihood on the line because I felt "the system" was unfair and I could beat it with my super intelligence and ego.
I had to make some tough decisions. Attorneys are not inexpensive. I had to ask if I could afford it. Ultimately, the answer was always, "I can't afford to NOT hire Josh." You're in a bind. It's going to be expensive. Expect it. But, DON'T fool yourself into thinking you're going to save money by going it alone.
I bit the bullet and sent Amanda and Josh everything they asked for. Then sat down with him so he could explain what the most reasonable outcome I could hope for. He talked about best case scenario, worst case scenario, probable scenario, and made no promises to any of them. That needs to be key to your understanding when you hire ANYONE though. Every circumstance is different. Yours is different than mine. Given my circumstances, I can attest that Josh was able to achieve the best possible outcome to save all of my licenses. Could we have contested the case and gone to trial? Sure. We might have even gotten a better outcome. Josh would have gone to bat and I have every confidence he would have prevailed. But, ultimately, Josh secured a great outcome without the additional delay and expense, and risk. I'm confident in that. I'm also confident that I'm making the right decision to recommend him to you, despite my public embarrassment. Best of luck to you! Stay safe.

The most stress relieving thing I ever did was hire Joshua Price after I got pulled over for a DUI. Not knowing much about the process of what happens after getting a DUI, he was able to guide me through everything and make it seem like a breeze. Josh was super accessible, from taking phone calls out of office hours to emails throughout the day, I knew that he truly cared about my case. I was charged for a first offense DUI and pulled over for drifting out of my lane, at the scene I blew a .09% and at the station I blew a .11%. Josh told me he had high hopes in winning the DMV hearing and he did! He also worked out a Wet and Reckless deal with the court for me which meant I had no license suspension. Besides his amazing help getting me through this unfortunate time in my life, Josh showed me respect, honesty, and he was very transparent about costs. He was able to set me up on a payment plan that was affordable for me and my family. He explained every step along the way and gave me several options to go about my case. Truly an amazing lawyer and he will fight for you!

Could not be more satisfied with the services received. Josh and Amanda gave fool proof instructions during the entirety of the case and were able to answer any and all questions due to their extensive knowledge of the law. Josh has perfected his craft during his stellar career and the results show in your favor. I hope I never need his services again however in the event that I do, I will not have an ounce of hesitation to contact him immediately. You get what you pay for and there's no better attorney than Josh. Joshua Price, you give hope back to the people who have made mistakes and you do not let said mistakes, define them. HIRE THIS MAN!

I reached out to Joshua for a case and he helped me through all aspects, and ended up getting me a DRY result, which was the best outcome I could have asked for. He walks you through what he's going to do and puts his best effort for getting a good outcome. Would 100% recommend to anyone going through the process.

I took lot of time to tailor this testimony to be as thorough as possible but within the character limits.
DISCLAIMER: If you're looking for a DUI attorney who spends energy to say the things that you want to hear and dedicate time to placate your ego, then stop reading this and go find yourself a different law firm. If you need attention, there are plenty of expensive pretentious law firms out there.
Josh even told me I don't have to leave any reviews if I'm concerned about privacy.
If you want to work with a lawyer who is tenured in DUI cases, straightforward, dedicates all their bandwidth only on the DUI case to get you the best possible results, and not enable your "customer is always right" attitude, then look no further and hire Josh immediately.
A year ago I drove in to DUI checkpoint and blew a 0.11 BAC in to a breath machine.
I did the worst thing during panic and got lured in to the first law firm that showed up on Google. The lawyer I was assigned started right off the bat by convincing me that my best option would be a plea deal. They didn't even bother paying attention to the details of my case. They had no time to even meet with me in person. They right out believed I was guilty from the beginning.
A few months later, I decided to fire the law firm and requested Josh to take over my case. Typically it's not a favorable situation for any attorney to take over from where a previous lawyer leaves off. But Josh was very practical and real but also nice enough to take the case over from the previous law firm. Unlike the previous attorney, Josh did not say nice things to lure me in, just to close the case soon. He was 0% BS right from the beginning and throughout our engagement.
Both Josh and I agreed that it would be best to go through a jury trial instead of settling. I was aware that this was a straightforward and easy win case for the State against me. But we fought anyway even with slim odds.
Josh is super focused and very passionate about his profession and dedicates 100% of himself to the case. He pulled many all nighters just to make sure I get the best possible defense. I would sometimes wake up to late night text messages from him asking for follow-up questions regarding the incident. He worked hard on presenting himself, myself and our case as best as possible to the jury(including giving me tips on how to dress up for trial).
It's worth noting that all this was in a very narrow time crunch because I had immigration outcomes depending on the outcome of this case.
During the jury trial, Josh presented his case so well that the jury took a 180 degree turn in their attitude towards not only my case, but on DUI offenses in general. It was more of an interesting 6 days seminar for everyone in the court room about how blood alcohol and breath machines work. The prosecution had that "So this is what it feels like to go against Joshua Price" look. Even the judge was extremely impressed with the defense that Josh put together. Overall Josh was the superhero of the courtroom and he is pure raw energy.
I want to highlight the main factor- while I spent 14 months believing that I was really a criminal, and prosecution trying hard to prove that I was a criminal, the jury coming in with an attitude that I'm already guilty, Josh was the first person during this entire time to introduce me to the entire courtroom as a human being, a family man, and a respected member of the society.
In the end, the prosecution unanimously voted "NOT GUILTY" on my case and it was DISMISSED.
Please keep in mind that you're hiring attorneys to get the best possible defense. You can't pay for outcomes. Considering all this, Josh is certainly the best defense anyone can possibly get.
I'm surprised he provides such a top quality service to lay people's cases for a reasonable price. I always believed that the best defense attorneys are reserved only for elites and VIPs only. But working with Josh, showed me how much he cares about the rights of common people.
I can never be thankful enough to get to work with Josh.

Great Attorney. Great Results.
Just like a lot of people, I never imagined I’d get arrested, find myself in jail, or being charged with a DUI. I had a horrible lapse of judgment as I drove 3 blocks with a BAC of .26%. On top of this awful mistake, I did not make things easy for myself or for Mr. Price as I refused to submit to a chemical breath and blood DUI test. At the police station, the arresting officer procured a warrant to draw my blood. Subsequently, I was additionally charged with refusal to submit to alcohol testing with the DMV. This carries an automatic 1-year hard suspension of my driver license.
When I got home from my night in jail, I immediately started Googling and researching “the best DUI attorneys in San Diego.” I read reviews and asked for attorney recommendations from a few people I knew who had been charged with a DUI. I called and spoke to several DUI attorneys, but I but was not sure who to go with. A friend connected me to a former San Diego District Attorney so I could get a sense of what to expect during the arduous process, get a little advice and find out who he considers are the best DUI attorneys in San Diego. He told me that if he or any of his friends or family got a DUI that there was only one attorney who he would call or recommend; Mr. Price. I researched Mr. Price and subsequently made an appointment with him. That was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
During our initial call, Mr. Price was meticulous in gathering pertinent information by walking me through the night of my arrest and hearing my perspective of what occurred. I really appreciated his attention to detail as well as his non-judgmental attitude, as I was embarrassed and down on myself regarding my DUI. Mr. Price clearly explained to me how he would handle my case. He laid out possible outcomes, giving me the best-and worst-case scenarios. I also appreciated that Mr. Price is a straight shooter who didn’t sugar coat the gravity of my situation. He gave me the honest to God truth and is realistic of what he believes he can do for you (and he most likely will overachieve what he tells you).
With Mr. Price’s dedication and knowledge of the law, he was able to work out a fantastic plea deal for me. My enhanced BAC of .26% was reduced to .19%. I only had to take the mandatory DUI classes for 3 months instead of the typical 9 months. I was given 3 years of probation instead of the 5 years the DA asked for. I didn’t have to wear an ankle bracelet or put a breathalyzer in my vehicle. Mr. Price worked hard to get me the bare minimum punishment possible for a DUI. On top of that, he was able to WIN THE REFUSAL with the DMV hearing officer setting aside the action. My driving privileges were restored and was able to get a restricted license for only 4 months.
I can’t praise Mr. Price and Amanda enough for all of their help throughout the entire process. Whenever there were any updates regarding my case, they were prompt in contacting me. Anytime I had questions, they both responded quickly. They were essentially available whenever I needed them. With so much going on with the courts and DMV right now, it was assuring to have both of them in my corner fighting until the end. Give them a call and see for yourself. You won’t regret it.

Josh Price is very knowledgable, communicative, honest, and a pleasure to work with. He is a very detail-oriented person with professional experience in his field. I would recommend any family or friend to consult with Josh about your case. It felt like I was more than just "another client," but a close friend or family member that was looking out for you and your best interest.

Josh Price is the best. My trial took years and his performance was outstanding the entire way. I was in the Navy at the time and got out before trial was over but he kept committed to my case. We won and I can't thank him enough for believing in me and helping me when I felt wronged.

Mr. Price and his assistant Amanda made my DUI situation the most comfortable situation that I could have ever had. I unfortunately wrecked my truck and was charged with a DUI, but out of all of the law offices that I called this one stuck out to me. From the very beginning of my dealings, I was greeted with such concern about my situation. This concern for my well-being only grew as the months to over a year of legal and DMV proceedings occurred. Mr. Price continuously impressed me with the amount of time and thought that was being put into my case. I was not just another person contributing to a retainer. This team is available to help with any concerns and their response time is very great, even when it is something small that you just need answered for say comfort or guidance during your situation.
Mr. Price got me accepted into the Military Diversion Program (MDP) after a few months of building a package to submit to the courts. This program is basically a way for qualified veteran service members to go through a year-long minimum program and if successfully completed then all charges and the arrest are dropped. I didn't even know that this program was a possibility, but it was this law office that immediately started working with me to find the best solution for my case and informed me of it. It was Mr. Price's mission to get me in and get me out as quickly as possible and with the least amount of court appearances as possible. Who enjoys going to court? No-one, so having someone fight for you to not have to bear through a court hearing if it is not absolutely necessary is fantastic.
Mr. Price also worked magic with my DMV hearing, after I think it was 8 separate hearings. The case continued to get continued as new witnesses and discovery were analyzed. Most lawyers wouldn't even attempt to try to win a DMV hearing for you because so rarely do they succeed. However, Mr. Price was a champion at finding any little thing that he could try to use in my favor and exploiting that to its maximum potential. I luckily won my DMV hearing and was able to keep my license and not have to go through any of the breathalyzer shenanigans. The only reason that I did was because of Mr. Price's ability and passion to give everything that he does maximum effort all of the time.
If you are looking for someone to represent you, Mr. Price, his assistant Amanda, and Defending Rights are absolutely the way to go. Breathe easy, and know that you have a fantastic attorney that will go to battle for you and find the best possible outcome for your situation. Worth every penny, highly recommend.

As a veteran I was in a really bad situation. Mr. Price helped me through the whole process which lasted two years. That was just because of what I had ran myself into, but non the less he helped and led me through everything and at the end getting my charge dismissed. He worked so diligently and in the end we got a win in our book. I couldn’t be more thankful and If you are in the military or a veteran, this is the man you want to help.

Let me start off by saying DUI had to be the most horrific experience I ever had. I never been arrested and never been in trouble with the law in the past. This experience was definitely eye opening and life changing. Last year I was arrested at the border coming back from wine country in Mexico. It was late and tired from the drive and hadn’t had a drink for a couple hours so I figured I was ok to drive. I get to the border and after interaction with the customs officer I was escorted to secondary. I didn’t realize at the time I was being arrested for suspicion of DUI. They order me out of the car and I fail all field sobriety tests. Taken to CHP offices and blow a .14 and a .13. I am arrested and booked.
After the shock and after spending the night in jail I return home knowing I have to get an attorney. Unfortunately, for me my job requires a clean driving record and I am in jeopardy of losing my career. I do some research and start looking for attorneys. I came across Josh Price and I can’t begin to tell you how grateful and fortunate I was to pick Josh for my case. I had talked to friends in the past and knew I was fighting an uphill battle. First offense with that high BAC level mandatory suspension of DL, fines, insurance rates etc. but more importantly I lose my job.
I had no choice but to try and save my career fight the charges and go to trial. Let me say that Josh knows his law. From picking a jury to bringing in special witnesses and most importantly knowing all the the rights of a defendant and laws of DUI. We didn’t get the most cooperative Judge, we also had the cards stacked against us because of my high BAC. I have to say none of that mattered, Josh was a bulldog in court, he fought for me and gave me a chance and was all I was asking for considering the circumstances and the reality of my .14 BAC. He walked me through the whole process worked with me when I needed guidance and was always available to me. Mr. Price never gave me false hope and was painfully honest with me. He said it will be a fight. He came to court everyday prepared and started chipping away at the prosecutors case. He was very personable and the jury understood him and our case. Forward to judgement day, the jury comes back and finds me not guilty of all charges!!
I can’t say enough about Josh and his commitment to my case and his expertise is second to none. Obviously everyone’s DUI is going to have different circumstances but know that this man is going to give you his all and your best shot at it beating your DUI. I now have my license back kept my job and will be endlessly grateful to this man. Thank you Josh!!
