Choosing Joshua Price as my DUI attorney was the best decision in my life...to be honest when I read other people say that about this attorney I scoffed and passed it off as a bunch of hyperbole. Now that I’m the one singing the praises of this attorney I have to share my experience. I initially chose Joshua Price simply because it really is hard to dismiss 74 five-star reviews on Yelp. I at least had to check out “the hype”. It’s no hype. This guy straight up told me that if charged, I was looking at a 95% chance of being convicted with a felony DUI and 4 years minimum in the state penitentiary. But instead of running and being worried about tarnishing his 5-star reputation he took my case. Fast forward 2 months and Mr Price’s expertise resulted in my charge being reduced to a misdemeanor and no jail time. He even got my 5 year probation reduced to 3 yrs. And my DUI involved an accident. His affordable rate felt even more affordable because he spread the payments out further than any other law firm I checked with. Don’t think twice about it ... check the guy out , listen to what he has to say. I did and because I did , against huge odds, I am a free man and most of all a very grateful man. Thanks Josh!!

Joshua did an amazing job on my case!! I was facing a second DUI which included a NIGHTMARE of consequences, such as jail time, an 18 month DUI program, road side work, up to 2 year license suspension, a HUGE fine and much, much more. I was absolutely terrified so I looked around for the best DUI lawyer I could find. Joshua was so helpful and made me feel a lot better. When Joshua called me and left me a voicemail telling me he was able to reduce my fine to a wet and reckless, I was beyond happy. He went so out of his way, he even spoke with a supervisor at the courthouse to fight for my case. I ended up with NO jail time (which was my biggest fear), a 12 HOUR program VS, an 18 MONTH program, no alcohol anonymous classes, no road side work, decreased fine by more than 500 dollars, only 1 year suspension (Could have been less but I waited too long for a Dmv hearing), and so so much more. If it wasn’t for him, I would be at a really bad place right now. If your iffy on getting a lawyer, my advice is to go for it because the court system will give you the worst punishment possible, reguardless of the situation. In my case, Josh really fought for me and the results showed for itself!

When my husband had a freak accident in Oct 2017, he was charged with DUI using prescribed medication and for refusing to submit to a chemical test after he was arrested. We found Mr. Joshua Price from the phone directory and were so glad we chose him from a list of attorneys that claimed to handle DUI cases. Our 1st impression was his personality, warmness and attentiveness to details of our predicament. Mr. Price commented that ours was a unique case and thankfully no one was hurt except the downfall of a palm tree. From the onset Mr. Price believed in my husband's innocence and assured us of his commitment to get the charged overturned. Mr. Price did his due diligence and we attended a DMV hearing for the Refusal allegation, and with his guidance, the outcome was no 1-year suspension on his driving license. We won the DMV hearing completely!  Thereafter a Hearing date was fixed for Court and after many months and hearings along the way by Mr. Price, who always kept us updated on the proceedings and getting positive results and eventually the final offer before trial. The last hearing in early October resulted with a fantastic outcome. My husband was charged with a 1st offense drug DUI and Mr. Price managed to get the charge completely dismissed with a guilty plea to a non-DUI offence with no term of probation, no fine, no classes to take and no license suspension. We are very happy with the result. Mr. Price was more than willing to take the case to trial if need be but with his guidance and advice we had decided against it.  Through his preparation for trial he worked out a deal we just could not refuse! From the day of our 1st meeting to the final hearing, we found Mr. Price to be very professional, thorough and patient.  He always take his time to explain everything, all defenses, and guide us, easy to get hold of 24/7, he knew his job well and was willing to fight our case to the end.  Also his fees were very reasonable considering the consequences my husband faced. Kudos to Mr. Price and his assistant, Amanda too. Needless to say, we are very appreciative and count our blessings that we found a very professional, committed and capable attorney in our "court".  We have no hesitation at all in giving him the highest recommendation to anyone accused of a crime, especially a DUI! Joshua Price and his team at the Defending Rights Law Center did an awesome job handling my case. I selected Josh based on the reviews I found online and he definitely lived up to his reputation. Josh was very responsive and available. Josh Price handled everything and I only had to make 2-3 visits to his office for an hour or less. That is tremendous considering the 10 months he spent representing me and Defending my Rights. When I tell other people about what Josh was able to do for me they regret that they had not found Josh in time. Having Josh’s business card in my back pocket gives me a feeling of security. In this day and age, having an attorney on your side, as competent and capable as Josh is priceless.

I was lucky enough to find Mr Price from reviews like this one. There is not one bad thing I can say about his services and team! Mr Price is honest, easy to talk to, and easy to reach when you have questions. Being arrested for DUI put my career and future on the line. Mr Price was able to receive a plea deal for a wet reckless in my case. I was very pleased with the result considering the circumstances of my arrest. I would 100% refer Mr Price to anyone in need of a quality DUI attorney.

When I was arrested for a DUI I was sitting in jail thinking about what to do. When I got home I was searching for the best possible lawyer to represent me. I met with two other lawyers and I did not have full confidence in them. When I met Mr. Price I could tell that he knew exactly what he was doing, and I trusted in him to represent me in court. For the duration of my case Mr. Price was always keeping me informed about every step I needed to take, including everything he was doing for me. He was always easy to contact when I had any questions for him. For my DUI offense I blew in a portable breath test of .13 and again in an evidential breath test of .10. With all the work Mr. Price did for my case I could tell he was fighting for the best possible outcome for me. This all resulted in Mr. Price getting me a non DUI conviction.

I'm writing this review to let any prospective clients of attorney Price know that my experience with him was not only successful and an education in itself but it left both my record and his record unblemished! Attorney Price told me that he was undefeated in .08 cases and I'm proud to state that his record is still unblemished given our success and mine is as well. I was found not guilty on the two counts I was charged with! I was very thorough in my search for an attorney after my first ever DUI stop at the age of 63. I interviewed approximately 10 attorneys five of which were in person. One attorney essentially hung up on me on the phone! One or two of the other attorneys were supposedly some of the best attorneys in town for these matters and one has a very high profile office and reputation. I found out later that that particular attorney was telling me a lot of untruths just to get me to sign up for his exorbitant fees. I also learned that most of the time he didn't even show up in court but had delegated cases to others. Attorney Price was very knowledgeable, very approachable, understanding and extremely competent. One attorney I interviewed actually told me that if he had a DUI that he would want attorney Price to handle his case!!! I was pulled over for weaving and then arrested on two counts for driving under the influence and having a PAS test of 0.09 and a breath test at CHP of 0.08. Attorney Price was always easy to get ahold of and was either picking up the phone when I called or calling me back within a short time. His presentation in court was very professional and obviously convincing to the jury given the fact that I was acquitted. This having been my first time of ever being arrested or being in court I was very much in the dark with regard to procedure and the ins and outs of being under such scrutiny. Attorney Price took the time and had the patience to explain things to me in a way that I could understand beyond the technical and legal procedural terminologies. Attorney Price isn't the least expensive attorney in town and initially I had a problem with the fee but he's also not the most expensive and given the result the fee I paid was well worth it especially after I saw all the time effort and work he put in on my behalf. I truly believe that I chose the best attorney for DUI cases in town. "Price is worth the Price"!!! Attorney Price had negotiated a very good plea for me but I had the confidence in him to take my case to trial because I could not afford a criminal conviction on my record and felt that he could get the job done. He also was able to keep me driving on the road during the nine-month preparation for my trial. My license was not suspended as he was able to prolong my DMV case until the results of the trial were in thus eliminating the need to appear finally at the DMV. In closing of this recommendation and review of attorney Price I want to state that I learned a great lesson, we were successful, I got my life back and I'm forever indebted to his fine work and dedication. If you don't use Josh for your case you're making a mistake!!! James C.
