As I’m sure you’ve noticed Mark Deniz’s reputation is immaculate regardless of what site you’re on. I am here to tell you that’s for excellent reason. As a client I could not be any happier with the outcome. I was a first time offender with a little over a .19 BAC (max limit is .08). The odds were very clearly against me. I was caught dead to rights for a high blood alcohol DUI. I’m a realist and assumed I was going to have the book thrown at me, do at least 4 days of jail time, eat a minimum $7-$10k fine, do 10-15 days of community service, and whatever other punitive measures there are for DUI. I knew I was caught dead to rights and wouldn’t have some miracle dismissal. Bottom line, I was guilty. So pragmatically my focus was finding someone to trust with my court appearances and leverage their negotiating power so I didn’t have the whole enchilada of punishments handed to me. Mark Deniz possesses the perfect combination of high level prosecutorial and defense attorney experience and it clearly worked for me. He expertly negotiated my plea down to a $2k fine, a 1 year ignition interlock on my car (imposed by the judge), and only 2 days of community service. Frankly, I couldn’t believe it on a high blood alcohol DUI my plea deal included only a minimum fine, no jail time, an ignition breathalyzer the judge ordered (no big deal), and a mere couple days of community service! If you’ve been arrested in a similar situation, you understand things could have been so much worse! Don’t try and navigate the criminal justice system alone. Place your trust in Mark! He’ll work tirelessly regardless of your circumstances and how stacked the odds are against you. You seriously won’t regret giving him a call!

I was arrested for domestic battery in March 2016, a very serious crime. If convicted, I was facing possible jail time, loss of my gun rights, loss of my state licenses, huge fines, anger management classes, and future issues with custody and visitation with my child. I was scared and needed help quick. I never thought in a million years I would have been arrested for a battery charge and sure didn’t know how serious California treats domestic violence / battery cases. So… I interviewed 5 attorneys within a couple of days. They all were very good in their own right but I never felt like any of them really were going to be able to help me or had my best interests at heart. I felt like a number and a dollar sign in many of the interviews with the 5 attorneys. Then, on a Saturday night, I found Mark online. I read ALL of his reviews and could hardly believe how many great things were being said about him. I picked up the phone and called expecting to get an answering machine. Mark answered and spent a good 30 minutes talking with me at 9 pm on a Saturday night. Who does that??? You could tell instantly he knew his craft inside and out. He told me each and every step that both the police and then the prosecutors would take to try and convict me of the crime. He is a straight shooter and won’t sugar coat anything either which I really appreciate. By the end of the phone call, I was extremely impressed and was 90% sure I was going to hire Mark to defend me. After I did some more research on him and his amazing career both as a prosecutor and in private practice, I knew he was the guy! I sent him an email late that night telling him I wanted to retain him. I received the retainer agreement early Sunday morning, signed it, and he was hired. Impressed again! I thought I would talk with him on Monday to give him more details about the case but I got a phone call on Sunday from Mark and he was already working on the case. I was impressed yet again. I don’t think the man sleeps! Everything that each person wrote in theses reviews about Mark is pretty much spot on. Mark really does care about his clients. He is easy to reach and usually answers his phone but will always get back to you within a few hours when you call. He calls and sends updates as he gets them. He is easy to work with and takes the time to explain any questions you may have. He is as professional as they come. Mark is a bulldog too. He is all over the prosecutors and floods them with so much information about his clients and their situation that the prosecutors HAVE to pay attention. The prosecutors are forced to look at each case and the person being prosecuted instead of looking at each case as a number and another conviction. Mark explained that prosecutors are paid to get convictions period. Mark has some unique tools that force the prosecutors to think twice before seeking a conviction or plea deal. I bet prosecutors hate to see any cases defended by Mark Deniz. In regards to the outcome of my case, Mark got the charges DROPPED!!!! The experience he gained while being a prosecutor gives him so many advantages. He knows the system and how to work it, he is well respected by everyone in the court and legal system, and he is friends with many of the judges, prosecutors, and everyone you need on your side to help you get the best outcome possible. My case could have easily gone the other way and I truly believe it is because of Mark’s relationships experience, professionalism, charisma, and follow through that it ended with such a favorable outcome. I will recommend EVERYONE to Mark Deniz. He saved my life in a lot of respects and I can’t tell you how grateful I am. I wish he practiced other areas of law as I would hire him to do it all.
