It is rare for me to provide a review - good or bad. I think this is my second ever, but I am so grateful to Andrew that I felt the need to share with other property owner/landlords regarding just how good he is. I am not a professional property manager, I am just a simple property owner who rents out her condo. Unfortunately, my first and long-time tenant became extremely problematic and breeched the lease in several ways (unauthorized subletting, unauthorized pet, paying rent...eventually). Due to my own inexperience mixed with wanting to extend "good-will" to a long-term tenant, I made mistakes (like handling various legal notices myself) complicating the eviction process. Retaining Andrew Greenfield was the best decision. He immediately went to work. He was proactive, thorough, very responsive to all my communications, and provided solid advice. His fees were reasonable (I did my research) but more importantly, the results were priceless. Based upon my tenant's attitude, I anticipated a long drawn-out court battle. Understanding that every case is unique and that no credible attorney will guarantee a result, I am more than elated to say that from start to finish the property was vacated without much issue within 15 days from Andrew's firm serving notice on the tenant. Mr. Greenfield was on point with his counsel and how he efficiently addressed all of my concerns about my civil case. If more attorneys were like Mr. Andy Greenfield, the word "attorney" would NOT have a negative connotation! After I was injured severely from a dog bite and spent 4 days in the hospital, the Greenfield Law Firm helped find a favorable settlement. Andrew Greenfield represented me in a landlord/tenant situation. My rental condo was being gutted for mold and sewage contamination due to multiple water damage incidents, which the rental company/owner/HOA had failed to properly repair. My kids and I had been unable to live there for more than 2 months, and were prevented from entering to retrieve our clothes, furniture…everything. When the rental company realized the severity of the problem, they began to harass and intimidate me. When I exercised my legal rights, they deliberately stalled the repairs. There are a few times in life when you may find yourself in a situation you can't resolve yourself and need straight, honest answers from a professional. I had lots of questions about my situation and wasn't sure if I needed to pursue it legally or even if I could. I called around and spoke to many lawyers that didn't really answer any questions I had, they all asked me to set up a consult appointment that would've cost $150-$250 with no guarantee of help.
