I was originally introduced to Alisha through a referral, and I am SO thankful I was. Throughout what you can imagine is always a stressful process (anything court related) she was great in every aspect. Not only is she educated, but she was patient with me when I jumped 10 steps ahead in the rabbit hole of “what ifs.” Alisha was always honest and made me aware of what was happening, or what could happen next. What will resonate with me, and definitely make me a return client, is that I never felt alone. I never felt a “where is she.” I’m 100% sure I was not her only client, but I felt like I was. I was confident knowing I had her on my side and that is what mattered the most to me.

I hired Ms. Woods, after being charged with a Boating DUI and (5) felony counts of Child Endangerment, back in August. I was petrified, as I was facing some pretty harsh and severe punishment, and my son's, as well as my own, life seemed to now be in others' hands. It was obvious that I was looking at a long and scary road ahead, however, immediately after hiring Ms. Woods, I felt confident that I had hired the right attorney for my case. I, also, am not a California resident, so that came into play as well. To say that Ms. Woods did a tremendous job is quite an understatement! Alisha worked hard to get me the best outcome from a DUI charge here is San Diego. I blew double over the legal limit and she was able to get the charge reduced to a Wet reckless charge if I agreed to complete a certain list of tasks (community service, AA meetings). I highly recommend the Law Offices of Alisha A. Wood for management of DUI related offenses. I was arrested for driving with a BAC just over the legal limit. Alisha and her team were savvy enough to coordinate several very useful things, some of which were specific to my case. First, the charges were reduced to "wet" reckless driving. Second, the expungement period was reduced to just one year, whereas standard is three years. Third, they spoke with the DMV to arrange that the hard month-long driver's license suspension occur at the time that was convenient for me. Finally, and most importantly, Alisha was present at a hearing I had to attend due to professional licensure issues, and her team prepared all the additional documentation this licensure group required. This last part was critical to minimize the effect of this conviction on my job, which could have been very bad. Alisha and her team were very competent, prompt, and flexible. They made going through this traumatizing process as tolerable as possible. This is all the more impressive since I was a client during Alisha's establishment of her own law offices after being a partner at Casey and Wood. As far as I could tell, this was a completely seamless transition. I highly recommend Alisha and her team for management of DUI related offenses, since they did such a terrific and reassuring job in my case.
