LIFE SAVER! I can not begin to say how grateful I am to this Law office. My car was over 4 years old almost 100,000 miles on it and I had issue after issue with my SUV over those 4 years. The dealer would repair several issues, however more problems would then arise after one issue was corrected. I reached out to Sotera Anderson and explained my concerns. I sent her any and All documents I had on my vehicle and she took my case and after only a few short months my claim was settled and I received full compensation on my vehicle. I recommend this law firm for your Lemon law issues, (even if you think you do not have a legal leg to stand on, ) I would still call this firm because I didn't know that I had a valid claim due to the length of time and miles I had, so before you give up hope on your vehicle problems no matter how old, call the Law Office, they may be able to help. though each circumstance may be different. (CALL THEM). My only suggestion is to document as much as you can when it comes to vehicle repair. Keeps notes and names if you can. But call them anyway and allow Sotera Anderson to decide what your best options are. I did and I am so Grateful.

Did you know the CA Lemon Law applies to motorcycles, too? I hired Sotera to represent me after my brand new motorcycle kept breaking down. The bike was repaired at the dealership multiple times for the same problem, and I no longer felt safe commuting to work with it. After voicing my safety concerns and getting the run-around from the dealership and the manufacturer, I felt defeated -- I was stuck with an unsafe bike, which I didn't feel right selling to anyone else, either. Sotera Anderson woke me up from Chrysler's Lemon nightmare! I had an ongoing battle with Chrysler for two years about my 2018 Pacifica Hybrid, which broke down NINE times, several times at intersections and once on the 10 freeway as giant trucks whizzed by inches away. While my van clearly fit the criteria of a Lemon in the state of California, Chrysler was obstructive, nasty and generally awful about the endless repairs and my eventual attempt to get them to take the van back. I contacted an attorney here in Los Angeles after I had brought the van in for service 6 times and Chrysler had 4 times rejected my Lemon Law case, but this man didn't think I had a case! I am not an attorney and I had no interest in investing more time and energy into this mess, and frankly I was getting depressed, but instead of selling it a loss, I tried one last time and found Ms Anderson on an online search. To my great relief, she was immediately responsive, sympathetic and helpful. It took another year as Chrysler took every possible evasion tactic to avoid taking responsibility, and 3 more terrifying breakdowns, but Chrysler did take back the van and left me at a $0 balance. Sotera also negotiated that they not deduct mileage and other sneaky anti-consumer loopholes that the automotive industry has legislated for themselves over the years. They also payed Ms Anderson, so I didn't have to pay out more injury toward this insult. Some people have asked why I didn't sue for more, but I'm not litigious and I'm just glad it's over. Breaking even was more than I had expected given the runaround that Chrysler had taunted me with for over a year. Ms Anderson was helpful, patient and supportive through this entire process. She laid out the process in a clear, non-jargoney way, and made it clear what documentation she needed and she kept up to date on the payments I had to continue making so that the settlement would be accurate. She kept me updated on the progress and back-and-forth with Chrysler, and it was a happy day indeed when the settlement was finalized and I had the van towed (Surprise! It wouldn't start for the 10th and final time!) to the dealership and was given a check for the money I had paid Chrysler. After battling Chrysler for a year on my own it was clear that I could not have had a successful outcome by myself, and I enthusiastically recommend Sotera's services.

Hello, Sotero Anderson assisted me with a very difficult Motorcycle case in San Diego. Ms. Anderson was extremely professional throughout our interaction, was able to get me my money back in full (and some), and got her payment from the manufacturer with no cost out of my pocket. If you’re interested in my story: I purchased a brand new motorcycle in 2016 and shortly after, about a month or so, it began failing electrically and shutting down mid-ride. The dealer repair could not figure out what was wrong after multiple attempts. I would keep getting the bike back and the same issue came up. Eventually, the dealer told me they couldn’t do anything. They said that the bike was faulty requiring me to deal with the manufacturer directly for a replacement or refund. I asked for a replacement or refund and I was denied both by the manufacturer. I reached out to a couple lawyers in the area and was turned immediately, and very luckily towards Ms. Anderson. To clarify, the recommendation was that she was “the best” with regards to lemon law cases and I believe they were right. To give a little more background, at the time I was a full time college student, full time worker (between two jobs), and pursuing commission in the US Air Force. Basically, I had absolutely no extra time to handle this legal battle and the sunk cost of the bike would have put me under. Ms. Anderson took all the stress and pressure off my back. She kept me informed and gave me straight forward options that broke through legal jargon. The case in total lasted a year until we were able to get a good settlement from the manufacturer. I highly recommend Sotera Anderson if you find yourself in the unfortunate position of buying or leasing a lemon. She was very professional and responsive. While COVID did slow the process a bit, MB bought back our leased lemon and we were able to recuperate all of our expenses, lease payments, down payment etc. Its completely worth having representation so you don't have to deal with all the nonsense on your own.
