Steven set my mind at ease immediately. My situation felt incredibly difficult and extreme. I would give 1000 stars if I could! Jillian Duggan-Herd is the BEST! She and her firm handled my child custody matter with determination, fierceness and FOUGHT for me and my kids. The empathy for her clients is top notch and the knowledge she and the staff have was unmatched in the courtroom. I retained her firm twice and will do so again if need be. I had retained 2 lawyers prior to her and I wish I found Jillian sooner!!! Her firm is the ONLY one I trust. Thank you Jillian!!!

It's not easy to combine pragmatism with something as personal as family law. Maria Spear has a unique ability to clearly and quickly distill empirical truth from the excess information and emotion that tend to muddy the waters of family and custody litigation. Unfortunately, it took an an extensive trial and error process to find this group. Heine is quoted saying "Experience is a good school. But the fees are high." As someone who is not big on online reviews, I'm writing this in thought of the next person who experiences the pains and uncertainty of this process: there is no substitute for excellent legal counsel when your family affairs' are in jeopardy. Cage & Mills is an excellent firm.

Worth every single penny!!! I contacted Cage & Miles after I made the difficult decision to leave my marriage. Shannon Miles provided me with a consultation and some great advice on how to move forward with the process (PSA: note to those who haven’t started the process yet...listen to your attorney’s advice, they’re the experts, they’ve seen it all and they just want to protect you from what will happen, and trust me, it will happen!). When I realized that my ex spouse had hired an attorney and filed for divorce (Surprise! See, he did exactly what they told me he would — I should have listened!), I knew I had the best team to support me. Shannon introduced me to another attorney on staff, Maria Spear, who I instantly connected with and trusted to help me through the divorce process. Maria was confident, dedicated, professional, kind, smart, understanding and had my back through every twist and turn... and there were many!
