Preston Estate Planning goes above and beyond the normal services you would expect. One good example of this is their monthly informative question-and-answer meetings. In 2020, these meetings are conducted using video conferencing online. John Preston and his son and partner, JM Preston, sit in front of the camera and discuss recent legislative changes that might affect their clients' estate plans, and they take questions from their clientele. They are very friendly and conversant during these sessions and we learn a lot. They also give us general advise, such as "don't have your heirs read the trust!" because it is a legal document full of legal terms, and it is not a set of instructions for the heirs. Preston Estate Planning provides a free appointment for the heirs/trustee(s) when a trustor dies, and in that appointment they tell all the steps necessary to execute the estate plan/trust and field any questions. They explain the fee to carry out the steps if the trustee wants Preston to carry them out, but that is optional. It is a fixed price quote, not billed by the hour. I am very impressed by this.

They provide all the services I need on a yearly basis and always respond in a caring way They are exactly what I was searching for in a company that welcomed me as a client and not as a sales opportunity. I waited a long time before discovering them and now feel I am with the cream of the crop! Keep up the good work folks.

This is about the third trust that I have had and the first by Preston Estate Planning. I have always been amazed how much thought and care has gone into this trust, but as I am learning more and understand more about it, I appreciate it more and more. As I am speaking with financial planners and other advisors, I realize how thorough of a job they have done for me.

PEP is an excellent estate planning company and regularly has webinars (used to be in person) so that we clients are kept updated on legal matters etc.pertaining to estate planning and are also afforded the opportunity to have our own personal questions answered.

Informative, cover points of interest

Lot of good information at these workshops. I haven't had questions to submit but many have asked questions that apply to me. I'm very happy with the monthly sessions instead of the previous Northern California - Southern California setup.

We first met John Preston in the early 1990's, and in 1992 he wrote our trust. A lot has changed in 28 years, and we have seen many friends struggle with trust issues, as they had never bothered to maintain the trust that someone else had created for them. We are fortunate, as the Preston Estate Planning program created by John Preston, provides continuing care of our trust. We have our Trust reviewed regularly, and where changes are needed, it is brought up to date. We receive educational information and attend seminars at no cost, so that we understand any changes in the laws regarding our trust, and reminding us of what will be done in the event of need in our lives to contact Preston Estate Planning. The annual fee in is reasonable, and the services are all covered. It gives us great peace of mind. I have seen the results of poor Trusts, and no trust management, and it can be a disaster. Preston goes the extra mile in providing assistance and information to their clients. The monthly Zoom meetings give clients a chance to ask questions and are o helpful to all the attendees. Preston is just outstanding in every way.

We have had a Living Trust for eleven years and it was one of those "cookie cutter" types. I always knew it was inadequate but not to what extent until I attended one of John Preston's presentations several months ago. I found it to be very informative and everything we've done as clients since has worked like a well oiled machine! They have explained everything so we can understand it, coordinated paperwork back and forth, gave us information to coordinate with the mobile notary and much more. They are available by phone or email right away and their follow through is outstanding even during Covid-19!
