Not a Litigator. If you want a showman, someone who cannot make a decent legal argument, but can tap dancing in court then this is your guy. Dishonest and incompetent.

He fabricated motions and invoices. When he didn't get paid what he wanted, he flipped custody positions. Avoid him. He should be removed from the bar.

Mr. Schulman represented me in 2006 regarding a custody hearing in North County Court, Mr. Schulman was unprepared for my court date, misrepresented the facts of the case, in addition to conflicts of interest, I would never hire him for anything again.

Mr Schulman represented the minor child, The child's condition had gotten worst since dissolution and I had lost hope of saving my son. I am a client of David Schulman. I retained Mr. Schulman August 2014 to handle my divorce. I was scared and financially outmatched. Dave Schulman will give it to you straight. He tells you what the legal issues are and the possible outcomes. He helped me take the emotion out of the decision making which dramatically drove down the cost of the legal wrangling. He battled for the issues that were important to me, and made it very clear when fighting for things like keeping my house were not worth the cost and time it would take. If you want someone who knows the ins and outs of family law and will give it to you straight, then Dave is the attorney for you.

Dave represented me in a contentious divorce. He protect my rights even when my ex-husband battled me over custody. He is aggressive when he needs to be, doesn't let the other party pull any BS and really helped me during one of the most vulnerable scary times of my life. In the end I received primary custody and my settlement was such that I didn't have to deal with being manipulated by my ex. I feel my rights were fully protected and I would recommend Dave for anyone that may be in a contentious custody battle.

David handled my divorce about 5 years ago and I would recommend him highly. He looked out for my best interests and kept the opposition on their toes!
