Deciding to go through a divorce can be one of the most difficult decisions in your life. Choosing this law firm should be the easiest. The team that was behind me made me feel safe, protected, looked after and confident that I could get through this. They communicated every step of the way and were always available to answer my many, many questions. I can honestly say that without this team I could not have gotten through the past 2 1/2 years of my life. Thank you Julie Westerman and team for all you have done for me!

Worst Law firm we ever used. Run away from this firm if you want a real Attorney to defend your case.

To say that I am disgusted with the actions of my attorney Julie Westerman would be an understatement. Please keep in mind that this has nothing to do with the fact that I lost my case trying to protect my son from a verbal and physically abusive alcoholic. The reason I am so upset and frustrated is because Julie did not do her job. In addition to the response time being extremely slow if at all. I spent a lot of time writing my initial declaration along with a follow up to my ex's statement. In great detail, explaining that my son was scared of this person and was upset. Essentially, I was asking for one of two things. I was asking that my exes boyfriend not be in my son's presence during her custody time or I was asking for more time to minimize my son's exposure to this toxic man. The whole entire purpose of going to court was this material fact. The week before the case Julie and I had a conversation. And during that conversation, it sounded like she was in her car doing two or three other things, and not really paying attention to the conversation because the thing she was talking about did not make sense. I was not asking for more custody for the sake of just having more custody. And I said that to Julie. I said this Has to do with this guy being verbally abusive to my son, and it scares him and his mother. So I re-emphasize everything and I thought we were on the same page. On the day of our court case she showed up late. And while she was talking to opposing counsel, I was able to listen and she was talking about what her husband likes to drink when they go out. And I felt that that kind of conversation before we walked into court was completely improper because it had nothing to do with what was currently going on. And because of that conversation with opposing counsel, I had no time to speak to my attorney before we even walked in the court. Then, when we got to ​the courtroom, my attorney completely went off script, and made no mention of the man that was verbally abusing my son, and turned the whole thing into me, just wanting to have more time. And when opposing counsel was telling the judge that there's no evidence of any violence in their house, I was writing on a piece of paper, telling my attorney that she just contradicted what family court services had written after interviewing my son. And she ​p​ushed the piece of paper back to me, and made no mention of what FCS ​s​aid. Please understand that this has nothing to do with me losing. This Has to do with Julie Westerman not doing any research, not listening to me, and just doing what she felt which again does not make any sense because the whole reason we were doing this was to try to remove my ex​'​s boyfriend from being around my son. When I left court, that day, I felt sick, I felt frustrated, I felt upset, and worst of all I felt betrayed! My attorney literally did nothing! She stuttered and stammered her way through the statement she made to the judge, while her hands were shaking, and made no reference to any portion of my declaration or response that I took so long to write. To me, this is literally a bad dream! That I spent all this money for her to just Sit there (that's right, she didn't even stand for the judge!) and make a nonsensical argument as to why I was looking for more custody to have the judge. Just say we're gonna keep everything the way it is. I have documented this information to the California Bar as a formal complaint against Julie Westerman from malpractice in my case. And I would encourage anybody else to do the same. I hate having to do this, but the person I I was paying to protect me, and my son betrayed me, and I'm not gonna deal with it. And I'm gonna make sure everybody knows exactly the type of attorney. She is one that does not care because clearly her personal life is more important than her clients.

Perhaps the worst experience I've ever had with any professional service. The attorney I was "assigned" by the partner of the firm was never in the office, available for phone calls and rarely followed up on any aspect of my case without my initiation and prodding. In the 9 months I worked with her, I had 1 ZOOM call with her, in the beginning of my case. That was it. I brought the issues to the partner which seemed to light a fire under my attorney for a minute in which she took more initiative regarding my case but that quickly diminished and I was back to square one. Needless to say, extremely disappointing and costly experience. I highly recommend staying away from this firm altogether.

Stay away from this law firm! They truly do not care about anything but billing and taking your money. Eric Moore trick me to cover it up the horrible services that I got from another associate who works in his firm. He did absolutely NOTHING for me. This entire firm is a billing machine SCAM.

Scheduled calls twice with for drafting a legal agreement with no calls back from the attorneys. Wildly unprofessional. I cleared my calendar two times for this.

Kevin Polis and his staff were phenomenal! I highly recommend this firm. 2019 was a very stressful time for my daughter and I. Dealing with a custody fight. I reached out to Kevin right before thanksgiving that year, I explained my situation and how the other party had no relation with my daughter. I went on to explain to him how much of a narcissist and manipulative he was. Kevin reassured me that he would fight for what is best for the child. It was a 2yr fight I am thankful that my cousin Wendy referred me to Kevin. Kevin doesn’t play no games!! Ms. Brittany Dracup and her paralegal Martina Biaesch were very helpful with my divorce. Even when my ex husband and I were in compete agreement about how to handle everything, they made it easier for us to get a divorce in California while we both moved to different states and in the middle of a Pandemic. They were efficient, stayed on top of things and were clear about costs from the beginning. Thank you for making easier a difficult transition.

Outstanding personnel! Very professional, consistent, and most importantly (in my opinion) patient. The ladies did everything in their power to make it the smoothest process possible for me from when I was stationed over seas, till the very end. Highly recommend for anyone in the military who needs their assistance. You will not be disappointed!

This law firm is horrible. Attorney failed to represent me in my divorce, was unprepared for court didn’t argue for my rights and failed to present evidence to the court. Now my children and myself are suffering, house is in foreclosure and I am left to file for bankruptcy while my ex has full control over family business. Biased attorneys who will charge you ridiculous amounts and do nothing to preserve your rights and protect your children.
