I retained a Jamie Galati to file a simple objection to my being named in a Trust petition filed. Not only did she misspell my name on the petition but the day before the filing deadline she told me that the $2,500 went into a Trust (yeah right!) and billed me over $4,000. All I ever got out of this lawyer was a telephonic consultation because I live out of state. I will share pictures of her correspondence to me and the petition that never got filed because she at the 11th hour held it hostage for another four grand! Re: Jaime Galati I recently had the opportunity of meeting with and subsequently hiring Jaime Galati to handle a sticky legal matter for me. I have been in business in California and Idaho for over thirty years and during that time have had, on many occasions, the need to engage legal representation to handle business as well as the occasional personal matter. This representation has been provided by large firms, small firms and, by independent solo practitioners. During those many years, I have never worked with an attorney who was so straightforward, direct and well prepared to take care of my problem. Jaime was responsive, answered all of my questions and was eager to explain where the case was directed and the possible solutions. She had an excellent grasp of the issues and insights into solutions. She attends to detail and her legal analysis and writings are without flaw. She is charming, competent and well qualified. Jaime is easy to talk to, she listened to me and addressed any concerns that I had. She is succinct, to the point and easy to understand. Jaime speaks to you in your language. She doesn't use big fancy words to try to impress you. Hiring a lawyer can be a scary thing. Jaime is about as far from scary as you can get. She is very professional but is also kind and understanding. I plan on using her services again.

I hired Ms. Galati to file the necessary paperwork to have the Trustee removed from our family's Trust due to his questionable behavior. After what Ms. Galati claimed was 13.5 hours of work, there was little progress being made. Therefore, I had no choice but to terminate the case with Ms. Galati.

Jaime executed a complex contract review and assisted in negotiations. She was able to find the small hidden dangers within the counter-party's terms that I believe would have not been apparent to many other attorneys. She made our group her sole focus while we worked together, unlike many other attorneys with whom I've worked, who appear to be forever juggling their time between clients. No matter how busy her schedule may be, she does a wonderful job of giving us her time and focus when we need it. She also has a deep appreciation for how emotional things can become and does a fantastic job of helping all parties remain focused on the goal and avoiding the damage that can occur when emotions cloud otherwise better judgment.

Galati led a very complex, multi-case matter that spanned over five years. She was professional, knowledgeable, and well-prepared. Her written work product is persuasive, well-organized and technically perfect. She defended hundreds of claims, in cases that involved thousands of pieces of evidence. She has a remarkable ability to recall specific details, and yet remains focused on the big picture. In our cases she demonstrated high level understanding of accounting, economic analysis, and both income and estate tax strategies. She worked very professionally and efficiently with lawyers from three other firms. We will continue engage her in the future as cases arise; we recommend her without reservation.
