Moriel Cohen got me through a very difficult Divorce, I sit here now and can't believe I'm on the other side of it. I'm so glad I sleep again and not be so scared of everything. Moriel is a lawyer you can depend on.

Brilliant, confident, and successful at handling my complex divorce. Moriel rescued me from a divorce that started in great difficulty for me. Moriel and I were practically starting over, and behind, as I had to change attorneys when my first attorney became gravely ill. I also lived out of state, and so Moriel and I met first by phone and FaceTime. It was no problem. At the time my visiting time and normal phone communications with my kids were being blocked by my spouse even when I traveled to see them. The divorce had many layers, beyond unwinding the access to kids and custody. There was a huge amount of paperwork valuing a professional business, multiple business and personal properties out of state, and real estate in California. Communication with Moriel was always impeccable, via email, text, phone and FaceTime calls, and eventually in person. I wonder how she kept so organized with all the documentation my business manager and I threw her way! She was flexible at timing our calls. She was also great at guiding, giving out homework, then gathering the information coherently as it came in. She boiled it all down into writings and effective court appearances that allowed me to be successful from long odds. I hired her and her partner for a family law case. Her partner was terrible as well. They lost me custody despite my pointing conflicts of interest and. Other major issues. She or her partner did not fight for me.

I hired Moriel as I was faced with the decision on how to ensure my son’s safety and well being after finding out some alarming news about his Father. I had handled my divorce and initial custody arrangement on my own, however, I knew this time, I couldn’t take any chances, especially with Covid changing life as we know it. Because of her, my son is in my full custody, only sees his Father for supervised visits and this shall remain until his Dad actually takes the necessary steps to prove himself and change this. I am able to go to bed at night without stressing over my son and whether he is safe and well taken care of. Although my case ended up costing more than I anticipated, the peace of mind I have was worth every penny! What Moriel did for me and my son is priceless!
