Amie D Miller is super sweet, sincere, and very honest. She is really smart and knows immigration laws very well. If you ask her about something and its not in the area of her expertise, she would tell you straight forward that it is not her area and would gladly refer you to someone else.
She always replies to emails in a timely manner, and she is always open for phone appointments.
She took my sister's husband's case and did her best to bring him to the US from a country whose citizens always face a very hard time with their immigration process into the US.
Now that my brother-in-law is here in the US, I am currently working with Amie to bring another family member from the same country to live with us in the US. I can say this with confidence that she is the best lawyer in her field.
Immigration process is very complicated and she would be more than happy to explain the process to you over and over.

So greedy, why lawyers are so greedy, just to talk to her and get answer to one question 'ONLY ONE QUESTION' she needs a $200/hour appointment. Called up her office to know about her fees for a spouse green card processing, to answer the question if she does green processing she needed and appointment and $200 payment upfront.

Amie Miller helped me through the process of obtaining my green card. She was amazing, everything went so smoothly and she was helpful every step of the way. An experience that I thought was going to be very stressful was made to be very easy and pleasant. I would recommend Amie to anyone who is looking for a great attorney to get you through this process. Thanks again Amie!

I was a 56 year old partner with a law firm in downtown San Francisco when a complex confluence of medical conditions eventually made it impossible for me to work any longer. At that time, I turned to Constantin Roboostoff to handle my disability claim with my insurer. Later, I had Constantin handle the arbitration of my claims against my firm, which was wrongfully and maliciously withholding money it owed me. Constantin did a outstanding job in both of these matters.
In the disability action, Constantin got the insurer to pay on the policy without my having to file litigation. This was truly an accomplishment by Constantin, as I didn't have any diagnosis from my many doctors at the time I originally filed the claim with the disability insurer. Notwithstanding this disadvantage, Constantin carefully strategized and pursued the claim, while I worked with my doctors to determine the source of my medical conditions. Eventually, after the insurer had initially denied the claim, my doctors arrived at a diagnosis of fibromyalgia (in addition to a number of previously identified subsidiary conditions). Because Constantin had carefully prepared my case, he was able to have the insurer reverse its own decision once my doctors had reached the fibromyalgia diagnosis. Constantin didn't even have to file a lawsuit in order to get the insurer to pay on the claim.
With regard to the arbitration against my former partners, Constantin patiently worked to maneuver the firm into a position where they agreed to pay nearly 100% of what they owed me, without my having to incur significant legal bills. As Constantin was working with a partnership agreement that did not provide for a "prevailing party" legal fee provision, he was at a significant disadvantage, but still managed to obtain a very favorable resolution that allowed me not only to receive nearly all of the moneys that I was claiming but also allowed me to retain all of my other potential non-contract claims (i.e., tort and discrimination) against the firm. To accomplish this, Constantin also had to deal with "personalities" at my previous firm, as the matter had become very personal in nature, as these matters often do.
Because my policy coverage extends for a number more years, and given the likelihood that I will not be able again to work in my current field, I will be continuing to work with Constantin as necessary in the future, both as to the disability carrier and also as to any issues that will need to be resolved with my firm.
I have worked with many attorneys over the years, and Constantin Roboostoff is absolutely one of the finest. He is very seasoned in both the disability and employment areas, and he is an excellent litigator. He is also a good person, easy to work with and sensitive to his clients and their needs when they are disabled or otherwise challenged. Words cannot completely express how fine an attorney he is.

A few years ago, I found myself in an awful and devastating situation regarding my immigration status. Amie's diligence and expertise saw me through a very stressful time in my life. I have now become a legal immigrant in America, and have my Permanent Residence Card without even having to be interviewed. She was amazing, kind, fair and extremely good at what she does. I could not say enough positive things about her capabilities and expertise. I will be forever grateful to Amie for helping me through that process.

Amie is simply the best!
When I first met Amie, I had no idea what lay ahead of me. Let me tell you, Amie paved the road ahead in such a warm, clear and professional manner, that I had slowly begun to feel more and more educated and accepting of this process. She just walked me through all that was required of me to make this happen, and was truthful and realistic with me regarding the procedure.
Amie is an amazing attorney, that truly takes the time to make her clients feel comfortable and welcomed!
I cannot say enough about her availability to me in moments of stress and confusion, whether I needed a detailed response to a logistical issue or just a soothing word!
Thank you so much, Amie, for your integrity and professionalism, but mostly, thank you for your humanity, kindness and compassion.

If you are looking for the best immigration attorney you can find, call Amie Miller! From the moment we met her we knew we were in good hands. When we got married last year she helped us get through the crazy amount of paperwork we needed to fill out. The explained the whole process and the options we had. Amie and her staff took great care of us through the whole process and answered every one of our questions. It didn't even take a year to get my work permission and permanent resident card. We appreciate everything Amie has done for us. Thank you Amie!

My wife and I got married without telling anyone, this is a big red flag when applying for green card as we need to proof our marriage was bona fide. We visited 2 lawyers prior to Amie. One was utter terrible, he simply say "we gotta give him something here or else we aren't gonna pass the green card interview" me and my wife was feeling hopeless. Until we meet this super lawyer. She was confident and her service was stellar. She quickly go through the process and got my wife her green card in 2 month. It gone by in a flash. I would recommend her over any other lawyer for immigration issues in SF. She is THE lawyer.

Immigration law often addresses topics that seek responses regarding a particular outcome- life or death. An excellent attorney is one who not only portrays the passion and zeal that such themes encourage, but also has the skills to navigate and master the unique obstacles that define the arena. Amie assured me that my case, which lasted three years, would witness an incredible outcome; this assurance was not detected in displays of verbal boasting but instead in her demeanor and the way in which she made it obvious that the outcome was desperately important to her as well. I would rate Amie 15 stars.....five for each year.

My wife and I met her to ask her some questions about our case (we received the infamous pink sheet - RFE - despite of the fact that we have done everything correctly). She was straightforward, honest, and very helpful :)
