I worked with Mandy Leigh directly. She was an expert on our school district and insisted on taking my case herself. She and her team helped my 2 children in so many ways. She was and continues to be a strong advocate for my children – hiring her was a game changer. Without her special education knowledge and insistence on getting my children what they needed I am certain my children would not have been able to get the school based attention they require. She created a roadmap for me and explained every step of the process. She approached each IEP team meeting thoroughly prepared. She uncovered examples of how my children were falling behind that the school never showed me. Mandy advocated strongly for both of my children and their unique needs. Her specific knowledge of special education law and her passion to do what is right enabled her to navigate a very challenging school IEP team and made me feel incredibly supported. Can not say enough about how much Mandy has helped our child! We had no movement, no progress with school and she’s has helped both our family and the district implement programs to get him educated. We continue to keep working with her bc she’s just that good and comes up with resources, providers and options none of us would have thought of, all in the best interest of our son.

If I can give Leigh 100 stars I would. I never would have thought that calling the first law firm we saw in the internet to advocate for my child would be one of the best decisions we have done in our life. We hired two previous attorney's to assist us in fighting for our son's special education rights. Although we were not displeased with their work, and we did settle fairly. A new issue arose that essentially was a continuance of the prior nonsense. I decided we needed new counsel, someone with an advocacy background. Ms. Leigh is tough, caring, knowledgeable, and a true advocate. She completely understands education for exceptional learners, supports, etc. She advocated strongly for our son. She did not back down one bit when one of the team members attempted to bully her way forward. Ms. Leigh stood her ground and called that individual out on her nonsense. Any parent who has a child with exceptional learning needs understands the need for strong advocacy! I wish Ms. Leigh had been my first call. I am grateful that she was my last call!

I Apologize for my earlier review. I was just angry because I have been working hard on it and have all the evidence, and thought it was a done deal. I had a hard time finding law groups, but your people at the end of the phone were helpful. Is still did take over 2.5 months before I got a response I would be declined and under heavy pressure you can see that would be frustrating. Again I’m sorry for my earlier review, and would you be willing to recommend me any other groups you know in this field of law? Yours is the only I’ve been able to find that answers the phone. I was looking forward to working with you all but it is what it is, and I wish you future success.

The only regret we have is that we didn’t hire Leigh Law Group sooner in the IEP process. As parents invested in our children’s education, it was impossible to step back emotionally in trying to navigate securing an appropriate education for our bright, capable and motivated dyslexic student. Mandy understood our student’s own longing to learn to read, write and spell so as to communicate successfully and independently. She really went to bat for our student’s right to access a climate that could and would deliver. We learned so much from Mandy. Not only does she knows education law, she knows the financial and emotional challenges facing dyslexic students and families stranded in the IEP process. In addition to securing an appropriate education, Mandy expanded our community with valuable connection and resources and connections when we felt drained and alone. Working with Mandy was great. Echoing what others have said she truly is an expert in her field. After trying on our own with the school district we came to the conclusion we were in over our heads and needed help. My wife is an attorney and we still could not navigate this area of law.
