I highly recommend Jason Wolford! I found myself in a difficult and frightening conflict with my landlord, and initially felt completely intimidated and overwhelmed by the situation. I talked to a number of attorneys, including several of the more well-known tenant's rights firms in the Bay Area, many of whom gave me the run-around, or agreed to handle some aspects of the case but not others. I'm very grateful that I finally connected with Jason. He took on the entirety of the case, and developed an overall strategy to navigate the complexities of the situation. He handled the case with great skill and competence, and brought it to a very positive conclusion. He's a clear, strategic thinker, fair-minded, and not intimidated by the bullying tactics one encounters in these situations. And he really is just a good guy, and treats his clients very fairly and honorably. If you find yourself in this kind of situation, look him up!

Jason handled my owner move-in eviction with great professionalism. His strategies were to be commended as the owner rescinded the eviction. I also love the fact that he gives back to the tenant community by volunteering a lot of his personal time. As everyone knows there are many attorneys out there that are left to be desired and then there are good attorneys such as Jason. I highly recommend him.

Jason works hard for his clients, who are often low income tenants trying to stand up for their rights in the evermore hostile San Francisco real estate rental market. Jason pushes past the cheap move-out settlements often foisted upon long-term tenants by their wealthy landlords. He fights hard to keep deserving folks in their homes.

I would give Jason ten stars. He is smart, forthright, honest and puts the interest of his clients first. Jason agreed to take on my case in the late stages of litigation (not long before the trial was scheduled). Very few attorneys will start with a new client that late in the game because there is so much catch up necessary. I had made a horrible mistake in the selection of our first attorney, whose sole interest in our case was to maximize billable hours. The simple truth is that our legal system can be very difficult for non-lawyers. It can be a nightmare if your attorney doesn’t resolve the case as quickly and efficiently as possible. Jason recognized right away that I had a very strong case. He made a bold strategic decision that turned out to be exactly correct and I won in trial. I only wish I’d hired Jason Wolford at the start of the case, which would have saved me an outrageous amount of money and stress. I recommend him without hesitation for any case he feels qualified to represent.

Jason Wolford is an excellent attorney. He gives straight-up advice, even if that advice may not be what you want to hear. He runs a fine, lean operation, and is very reasonable about fees and costs. I can’t say enough about Jason Wolford. I was in dire need of a good attorney for a wrongful termination case. Jason took over my case already in process with a different attorney; not an easy thing to do. From the beginning he was both professional and honest- his assessment of my case, explaining the process and what he thought the end results would be, all spot on.
