I hired Mike when an international online payment services company tried to make me pay a debt I didn't owe because of an identity theft case in CA. The company ignored my dispute so hiring an attorney was necessary. After submitting the complaint the company backed down and had to cough up some money in attorney fees and the case was dropped. If I didn't hire Mike they would still be trying to collect money from me.

Mike Cardoza is one of the greats! (From my personal experience.) It has been a tiresome journey finding him. I've searched for lawyers for about 8 months now - I've used Google, read some Reddit, talked to people I know and used a referral system and more, trying to find a lawyer. I've talked to several. Most lawyers "listened" to my story, but dismissed me immediately. They said they couldn't help and didn't know anyone who could. There was one who was inappropriate and was clearly trying to hit on me and another who said, "if you can't pay that, well then I can't help you." It was an incredibly frustrating process. I called the legal aid people and after paying their non-refundable fee, they gave me the name of a lawyer with a bad rep. and a bad attitude. The one good thing I discovered was the type of lawyer I needed, which led me to Mr. Cardoza's law corporation. The day after I found him, he called me! Unfortunately I fell out of the category of clients he is able to represent, but that didn't stop him from being extremely helpful. We had a 26 minute phone call. He was kind, patient, engaging, encouraging and most of all real. He gave me some potential next steps to take. I was honestly a little skeptical of his good reviews at first. There are few on Yelp and they're good with the same thing to say about him... I've read fake good reviews about people before...and when there's a small number of nothing but good reviews, it can be tricky to know if they are real or not, and how valid the statements really are. But his previous reviews were mind-blowingly true. Honestly, he is a breath of fresh air after the 8 months of stress and frustration before him. Thank you so much Mr. Cardoza! I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an excellent lawyer and human being. If my issues continue to persist I will absolutely be asking him for help, as he said to.

Mike is an excellent attorney. He responds to your questions very quickly and offers good recommendations.

This is a real service. Mike was efficient, knowledgeable, and good-humored. Though by the end of the call it was apparent that my situation wasn't worth pursuing, he worked with me for 20+ minutes (for free) to assess this, running through various potential legal options. Just wanted to add that I contacted Mike about 2 months after our original interaction about a different issue and he promptly provided helpful advice over email. Would definitely recommend!

I was a victim of ID theft and your firm got on top of it and made that false lawsuit against me go away when nobody else could and other firms wanted upfront fees but not Mike.!!’ I didn’t know Angels still exists.
