We left our former company to form a competitive business. Our former employer brought a lawsuit alleging violations of the California Uniform Trade Secrets Act (“CUTSA”) and breach of confidentiality agreements, claiming damages in excess of $5 million dollars and asked for injunctive relief to halt our business. If granted the injunction would have effectively destroyed our company’s ability to compete in the marketplace. Oleg represented the founder and the company in this lawsuit. He developed a robust defense strategy which centered on challenging the protectability of the purported trade secrets and validity of the trade secret designations within the plaintiff’s non-disclosure agreement. Ultimately, the case settled for a fraction of the potential exposure and permitted us to stay and grow our business.

Working with Chris made my life so much easier and took a huge weight off my shoulders. He's incredibly competent and knowledgeable, very responsive and easy to talk to. He also works in close partnership with his brother, Mark, so it's really like working with a legal team with the attention to detail and seamless client service you'd expect from a large firm. I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking a plaintiff's employment lawyer.

I just wanted to thank you for all the hard work you have done.
In the beginning the procedure was very frightening for me. But; you took me by the hand and led me through it all and comforted me when I was worried or stressed.
Mr. Christopher was clever, extremely professional, comforting, and always kept me informed during the process. It was apparent to me that he cared about the outcome of this case as much as I did. His style of representation was impeccable, classy, and he cleverly executed every facet of the case

Chris and Mark LeClerc are elite plaintiff-side employment litigators. They are tenacious, smart, professional and highly-regarded by both plaintiffs and defense lawyers. In fact, I have worked with both Mark and Chris on a variety of cases, including individual discrimination, class actions, and medical malpractice cases. I have tried several jury cases with both Chris and Mark. They are both spectacular in court. Several jurors complimented Chris and Mark on their performance and told them that they were organized, engaging and compelling advocates. They both really care about their clients and treat them like real human beings, not just lines on a list of clients. I have recommended at least a half-dozen cases to the LeClerc and LeClerc firm over the past few years. All of the clients have made special efforts after the cases resolves to notify me of how happy they were that I referred them to Mark and Chris. Mark and Chris are the best. You could not ask for more in law.

I spoke with Oleg to review my case and per his request he asked to meet in person with his colleague Parveen. After meeting them both and providing all the information of my case, I did not hear back from them. I had to approach them 3 days later, and asked why I have not yet heard back from either of them. He responds without concern for the delay. It seemed that a followup 3 days later on a pressing matter seemed like normal practice for them. I was already turned off by their lack of urgency, and later learned that they decided not to take my case. It was a bad first impression, which I am now grateful for, since as it turns out they were not knowledgeable in the field and lacked experience. I later hired a different attorney and found a favorable outcome to my case, which I don't think would have happened had I worked with Oleg and his team. In interviewing attorneys be vigilant of poor business practices like slow response times and poor communication habits early on. If these are already surfacing in the beginning of your working relationship, chances are they will only continue.
