I was a paralegal at another firm. Many of Katarina’s former clients would come to our office for help. She assisted her clients in applying for relief they are not eligible for & still charged them. One client once quoted me “she charged me $16,000 for something I am now told, I can’t even apply for.” In some cases, there is nothing we could do. I even witnessed her yelling at a client in the lobby at the immigration court in broken Spanish. How can clients trust an attorney when they are demeaning them? I also have gone to my Godmother’s shop where another client of hers said to me “she embarrassed me in front of everyone and yelled at me next to my daughter. I paid the fee of $500 and I have not yet gotten a result. I had to take the loss.” She is ridiculous! Do not trust her.

Daniel is a total pro - direct and honest while also being kind, caring and responsive. Had and unexpected and unfortunate incident with a former landlord that needed some careful navigating. After a short conversation and some clear guidance, I had that answers I needed and a very clear path forward. I hired Jason Wolford on two separate occasions pertaining to issues I had with my landlord and we won both! The first was several hearing at the rent board where Jason has experience and the other was a lawsuit. Jason was very knowledgeable about tenants rights and is a big advocate of them, he was easy to communicate with and diligent in gathering the correct information in order to win my cases. I highly recommend hiring him to defend you and would hire him again to defend me in a heartbeat.

As a tenant you want Daniel in your corner. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the law, especially when it comes to the confusing nuances that come with living in San Francisco. He is great at explaining your options and dissecting the pros/cons of different approaches in palatable terms. I am not sure what we would have done without his council. The landlord-tenant relationship is stressful and we were so glad to have Daniel walk us through process.
