Some people are meant to do what they do because they are great at it and Sam Geller is definitely one of those people. Thank you for your guidance and help with my situation. I was introduced to Mr. Geller through word-of-mouth by a close friend and after having the privilege to work with him, I can tell you that he is knowledgeable.. he knows the law. He is articulate, and an overall likable person that achieves positive outcomes in the courtroom. If you want to enhance your chances of a good/better outcome for yourself or your loved one/s I recommend Mr. Geller. llya Filmus is an incredibly kind, empathetic lawyer who really knows his stuff! I spoke to him about a legal situation to which he was able to offer sage advice. What's best about llya is his knowledge and industry background. He immediately puts people at ease because he inspires confidence through his expertise. After a 50-minute conversation, I felt so much lighter and clearer about how to deal with this very stressful matter. Ilya’s experience includes representing clients in employment, personal injury, and business matters. It's so clear that Ilya is ardent about fighting on behalf of the underdog. That's what everyone needs. Someone who is for the people and not about their paycheck. When I offered to hire him, he said to save my money and instead offered me free advice for nearly an hour. When I was laying in the hospital, I called a few maritime lawyers, I started with those recommended by my shipmates.... left messages and waited for responses. I then called Nick’s office after googling West Coast Maritime lawyers. A day later his assistant got back to me, then Nick. I reached out to get a lawyer in the first place because the shipping company and even my shipmates seemed to leave me in the dark... it was an ROS ship, so we were close, felt weird that they couldn’t answer my simplest questions. Nick came in, laid out his plan, what he needed from me, and what he was willing to do for me. And for 2+ years.... he stuck to the plan. He had an answer for every curb ball they threw at us. Every time there was a tough situation, he explained it, and allowed me to have a say in the process. From beginning to the end, he always asked me what I thought of the situation. He always kept me updated on all situations, even cc me in most emails. Nick never gave me a reason to lose confidence in him, EVER. When I first got injured, I knew I was going to get something, the amount I had in my head was $500,000! So when they dangled $1,000,000 they really had my attention. But Nick broke down the process, advice that I decline and allowed me to make my own decision... I decline... and settles for over 3 times their first offer, over 7 times the amount I originally thought my case was worth. Here it is after the settlement... money is in the bank... and Nick and his assistant still call to check up on me, still offer suggestions, still willing to walk me through any processes I may need. That mean a lot. I can’t really say enough about Nick, professional, and a friend. If you want things done right, I suggest you call him up!

I called Sam after getting arrested for a DUI. I knew he was the best Lawyer because he got my uncle out of a big trouble (where he was facing 10+ years) to only do 3 months home arrest. Sam helped me out with my DUI with child endangerment. I still have the DUI but a least I did not had to deal with a separate case of CPS. I’m not really sure where to begin, but I can easily say Sam is the best attorney I’ve ever worked with. About a year ago I reached out because my family needed some help in Contra Costa county.
