My family hired Chris Morales to defend a family member accused of three counts of attempted murder. Chris worked diligently and intelligently on the case. He kept my family informed of court proceedings and goings on of the case. He also responded to all emails and phone calls in a timely manner. This is the person you want to hire if you've been accused of a crime. At preliminary, Chris did an excellent job. In the courtroom, he spoke clearly and authoritatively and ensured a thorough cross-examination of state witnesses and raised many objections throughout the proceeding. Through Chris' knowledge of the law and his tireless efforts, my family member's case was ultimately dismissed (at pre-trial, not at prelim). I only wish he had placed more effort toward a proper bail hearing. His view was that the bail would be astronomical and undoable. I appreciated his candor and insight, but still wanted to have at least some bail amount placed on the case. Eventually a Judge, of her own volition, established a bail amount. It did turn out to be beyond unreasonable, but at least there was an amount set. My family is forever indebted to and grateful for the representation that Chris Morales provided our family member.
