Joe Waxman is an amazing attorney. His knowledge of California's Worker Compensation is awe inspiring. He both defended and protected me, winning against a formidable opponent a major medical center in the San Francisco area, which, in my opinion, did not have a great reputation for making certain its injured workers are treated as family members. I have seen Joe (before an injured workers support group) describe how the system works and answer extremely minute/arcane questions without referring to notes. Do not be put off by his gruff manner. He might seem intimidating, but that is only the tip of the iceberg when his opponents take him on. Joe cares. My case took several years before he won, but I never lost faith or doubted he would be there to conclusion.
