My asylum case has been nearly four years hanging like sausage with other attorney in NYC. My friend suggested me this law office,after I moved to Bay Area, they took my case , and worked carefully, clean up all the mess and mistakes my previous attorney made . Due to history of forced abortion in China , We submitted the application for asylum . We hired an unprofessional immigration consultant to prepare the relevant documents at first. Because of the inadequate preparation and many inconsistencies in the interview, The case was denied at the immigration office of SF in November 2019 .We got the information of lawyer Wang via online search. My husband finally got his immigration visa. Here is my experience. I am the green card holder and petition my husband. It has been four and half years since we applied. The interview supposed to be last year. However, due to the epidemic, there has been no news for nearly one year. Day by day with so much frustrations we heard that a friend of mine had just successfully received his green card. So I met Justin Wang via this friend’s referral. Justin filed a lawsuit to the government within three or four days after learning about the situation. Two and a half months later, my husband received an interview notice. But no visa was issued because they wanted more documents. Due to the various obstacles of the epidemic, for three months, the documents were finally submitted and a visa was issued. The thing we appreciated most is that Justin did not give up like some lawyers did when attorney from the Ministry of Justice urged him to sign and withdraw the case, saying that the result of the case was that the visa would not be granted. He insisted until my husband finally got his visa. I am very grateful to Justin Wang for his persistence. Finally we got our family reunion. The case was approved yesterday! Mr. Bowman is a great lawyer! He has a lot of experience. He can speak English as well as Chinese! In court, the translator made some translation errors, the judge was confused, and the government lawyer attacked me with this error, but Steve Bowman pointed out that the key word was a translation error, correct the error! It is important that your lawyer is fluent in both your language and English! It is so painful to worry about my immigration situation every day, especially when USCIS rejects my case and takes my case to court. Makes me feel even sadder. Thank you so much Attorney Wang, for helping my delayed I-485 applications. My story: I filed my I-485 on April, 23 2020 and had the interview on 7,23 2021..after that. I didn’t hear anything back from USCIS.
