Alison and her team are very professional, capable, efficient, and helpful. I knew her about five years ago by one friend when another lawyer failed my L1 case. Alison successfully helped me get my L1 visa and the renewal one year later. Recently, one of her team member, Michael also helped my wife, nearly 60, successfully get her status from B1 to F1 under very tough situation. Highly recommend!

I don't usually write reviews, but the support I had received from the firm was exceptional. My case was regarding change of status to Permanent Resident. I referred to them by a friend in late 2020 during peak COVID, with all the uncertainties around us. We got our petition approved and could not be happier :) Alison and her team were extremely helpful during the process. 1) Responsive: I received timely response to all my queries and Alison took time to explain certain nuances even though she did not need to 2) Knowledgeable: She and the team clearly have grasp on the law and how it evolves. For example, I received a particular RFE which would have required me to gather lot of documents - putting additional stress. Alison informed me of a changing law and that we should wait. We followed her advice and next week received a letter informing not to respond to RFE. 3) Organized & detailed: I liked that everything was organized on their online folders etc. They also caught few errors as I was providing my info. Overall, I highly recommend her and the team.

My situation was dire and I needed help with something very routine and trivial. The issue was that the postal service had misplaced my immigration application and I had to refile, but the re-filing was past deadline and I needed some legal help making my case to USCIS. I emailed them on Friday with documents and I had a first consultation set up on Tuesday. During the consultation I realized that my documents weren't even read beforehand. I was given some standard run-of-the-mill solution. Basically I was told to return to my home country and leave my job immediately. I later did my own research and found a few different resources from USCIS that talked about the COVID-19 relaxations from USCIS. Based on those I wrote a letter myself and submitted with supplementary evidence and today I got my work authorization approved. TL;DR - Total waste of money. Did the legal research myself and got out of the mess. Would not recommend

From start to finish my exchanges with this Firm could not have been better. I approached YEW Immigration, in the person of Alison YEW, in order to apply for a Green Card. Very clearly the whole procedure was explained to me, documents were soon gathered, verified and submitted. It was then a question of 'waiting' .. during which Alison kept regularly in touch, based on the successive standard requirements of the USCIS. All was done swiftly and efficiently until I was told by Alison that my 'ever so desired' Green Card was on its way to my home. What more could I ask for? This review is a way to thank Yew and her team, including Michael and Veronica, for helping me to response to a Request for Evidence from USCIS on form I-539 change of status case. Due to Covid, all the timeline, deadline were messed up and USCIS asked for a visa status that was expired a long time before they processed my case. I was worried at the time but Yew helped me to solve the case professionally. Most lawyers do not take in case for non-immigrants, but Yew does which I find it rare here in Bay Area. To people who said that she is expensive, you get what you pay for. She and her team are professional and firm on deadline so I know my case is in a good hand.
