I scheduled an initial cosultation call with Allison Yew. Her assistant told me to send questions and documents on her e-mail address prior to the consultation, for review. The email invite also mentioned to send the documents over email prior to the consultation.
At the start of actual consultation, Allison mentioned that she did not read the questions or documents. When I requested to reschedule the call (because review of the documents was necessary), she did not agree to reschedule and insisted that we continue in the same 30 mins window without reviewing the documents.
Also during the consultation, her information about visa processing times was inaccurate. She told me multi-year processing time for the green card. And when I requested her to look it up on the internet, she herself found that the information was incorrect.
All-in-all, she opted to offer advise without any prior study and information. Several pieces of information shared by her were misleading.

In part because of Alison’s stellar reviews here, we started with Alison in 2019. I am taking this time to give back to the community.
We have just concluded three successional petitions where Alison represented my wife:
2019 - I-485. We thought we had a straightforward case. Alison pointed out where we had problem, and advised how to fix it. The issue came up in the interview, and thanks to Alison and us being prepared, the issue was was handled swiftly at interview and my wife’s green card issued less than 3 weeks later.
2021 - I-751. At a time when most I-751 cases are taking more than 2 years (and USCIS is now issuing 48 month extension letters), our case was approved in 12 months, with interview waived.
2022 - N-400. From filing to oath of citizenship this case took less than 4 months.
None of the three cases had an RFE. Alison submitted the optimal amount of evidence for each case. I believe Alison’s experience and good judgement are why my wife’s immigration journey was a smooth process at a time when most customers of USCIS are experiencing historically bad service.
If we could have done anything differently, we would have hired Alison to handle the I-129F and K-1 visa process. Had Alison handled this for us, our K-1 process would have been faster and we would have been set up for a faster I-485. My wife would have become a citizen 6 months sooner that way.
Alison’s fees are, in our observation, about average across the country and below average for the Bay Area.
We have recommended Alison multiple times to friends and acquaintances since 2019 and will continue to do so.

We had a phone consultation with Attorney Alison for a few employment based immigration related questions. We have had a consultation with Alison in the past as well. We found her to the very knowledgeable, articulate, and insightful. She is also very friendly and easy to talk to. Ours is a bit of an unusual situation, she gave us very helpful and well researched advice. We needed a follow up call; she was kind enough to include the second call as part of the first appointment.

Dear All,
I am writing this review to express my heartfelt gratitude towards Ms Yew for helping my family in obtaining green cards. The whole process was filled with uncertainty and difficulties, but Ms Yew was there to guide us every step of the way.
Ms Yew displayed exceptional professionalism and knowledge in handling our case. She was patient in answering all our questions and concerns, and she made sure that we understood every aspect of the process. She was always accessible and prompt in responding to our emails and phone calls, which made the whole process much less stressful for us.
What impressed us the most was her dedication towards our case. She went above and beyond to make sure that everything was done correctly and in a timely manner. She made sure that all necessary documents were in order, and she made sure that we were well prepared for our interviews. Her attention to detail and her thorough understanding of the law were instrumental in helping us successfully obtain our green cards.
I would highly recommend Ms Yew to anyone in need of immigration services. She is an excellent legal representative who truly cares about her clients. Our family is forever grateful for her hard work and dedication.
Thank you so much for everything!

I had consultation with the attorney for my immigration assistance. The attorney was friendly and polite. We had multiple questions related to the risk of immigration process abroad. The attorney mentioned there is no risk and did not provide detail to support the answer.
Upon further analysis on that matter from others experience and from a different attorney, I came across the potential risks and the steps to handle. This led us to make a clear decision. I would have made an important mistake and would have struck in abroad for some period if I listened only from Alison. An attorney must provide all the implications and the potential risks. That's why we are paying them for. The front desk is expected to be much friendly which I did not experience here.

A long journey of struggle tried to adjust my status as family base through a normal process of I 485 forms I found myself in a difficult situation and USCIS had decided that I have to leave my family behind and go back home in Middle East where the future is unsafe and unknown, it only took me quick search to find Yew immigration law office and Alison was prompt to answer my complicated questions about the case, therefore I booked an appointment and went and met with her for the first time to find the peace of mind and the answers. I need not to mention that she understood my financial situation as well, and gave me a break to pay her fees slowly as she handles my case.
From 2018 we started the process she has handle it extremely professional way and I felt I’m in a great hands till finally last week got approved and just received my green card today I am extremely grateful to Alison hard work and her staff through this difficult journey.
I knew in my mind that no one would have handled my case like Alison did and she was by my side throughout the past five years, emotional and professional support. words cannot describe how thankful we’re for her kindness and professionalism.🙏
